i bought this single when it came out-not because it was any good-really just to get him back in the charts because i'd been so crazy about t.rex in the early part of the 70s-totally caught up in t.rextasy! I remember being horrified at the way he looked at the time, having been so utterly gorgeous...

@bazbox Marc Bolan couldn't be bothered to mime properly in most of his vids - was he shit? Gloria Jones added a new dimension to Bolan's music.... though this song is awful.

Even at the ripe old age of 53 I still miss marc Bolan and his music. He had a massive influence on my life from a very young age, and I wish he was still here. I'm sure that he'd still be writing and performing his music. Even though I liked the accepted original T Rex line-up, I thought that his very last band were really powerful and talented, and marc had matured into a brilliant and potent star. God bless him x

I've thought for years that the ending of this song should be considered as the first Rap recording.(I think Rap sucks btw) As for the haters and their negative comments,take a flipping Midol and go away. But...what is asda and hmv? I had Light of Love some 25 years ago. Actually got it in a sale bin at the record store. I think I paid $1.99 for it! Can you believe that? I wonder if it's even in cd format. I don't own a turntable at the moment. All my vinyl got stolen in '87 and then my turntable died...so I didn't go buy another one.
