I flew from sydney to wellington last night and they had a mixture of all thier saftey videos, itwas embarrassing to be a new zealander. I'm not homophic and dont critisice from a sexuallity point of veiw but from a country point of veiw. This does not show nz how it is and as a national airline it should try and make ones funny but related to the country. plus the flight was bad, they managed to get3 austalians drunk infront of us, the flight attendants got annoyed at eachother. dont fly air nz

If anything it shows how New Zealanders have a great sense of humour...if you make an assumption of a nation from a parodical airline safety video that's taking a dig at the 1980s then you are pretty damn stupid and don't deserve to appreciate New Zealand.

I was sceptical to start having seen the geeky try hard body paint number but I think this hits the mark better. It actualy shows how the O2 masks deploy, how to get your life jacket out, what the emergency lights look like and how pathetically futile the 'brace' position is as you come to a sudden stop from anything more than 80kph and everything concertinas together or tears itself apart.
