The french technically won ww1 but if america hadn't come in to turn the tides the war would have gone on much longer the americans secured the victory in ww1 and as far as the french winning more battles then anyone that's just not true most ancient people associated with france didn't even come from france for instance the franks actually came from germania. Sure the french military record is alot better then most people think but winning the most battles I think not.

The fame stems from the British army (along with a Prussia army ) Defeating Napoleon in his final battle at Waterloo which was not one sided in the least, Napoleans army doing very well in the beginning and all.

Lol that thing that says runs great on intel core i7 is only a paid advertisement. The game doesnt run well on quad-core processors because quad-core is too advanced for it. The game came out 2009, quad core came out 2010. Search it up online if you dont believe me. Quad core rpocessors are only good for playing games that are from 2010 and up (ie Napoleon Total war). You wont be able to play Medieval Total War very well on a core i7. Dual cores are the best (i3 or i5).

@Brokasscouille your proccessor or you graphics card if your talking about your graphics card which i think you are there. you have the 1.5gb of ram instead of 3. there is no difference between them really the only reason i have it is beacause when i purchased the laptop the 3 gb already came with it. But could you give so more info before about your specs i guess and if you are not able to run the games at high and very hgh settings or if napoleon crashes everytime you try a battle

Hello i just installed Napoleon and empire total war on my 2 day old aleinware m14x and with these specs CPU intel i7 quad core 2.2ghz (3.3 ghz at turbo boost 6mb cache)

RAM 8 gigs at 1600mhz ddr3

GPU nvidia geforce gt 555m with 3.0 gb of ddr3 ram- I was Pretty sure it could do very high for the games but high and very high setiings are disabled is my system really not good enough for higher settings if any info at all please replay thanks

Both of these games arent built to support quad core rpocessors (i7) so your pc will not be able to play them at high or very high due to the fact that yur processor is just far to advanced for the game making it use less of its processing power. Dual Core processors are the best option to use when playing this game (i3 or i5 even though they have seemingly weaker processing power .) 2.4 ghz dual core is around the quivalent of 3.0ghz single core.

@Kenx95 Actually i figured out how to enable the high and very high settings and it runs the game very smoothly but do know anything about napoleon total war crashing no mattter what settings i put it on everytime i try to do a battle it crashes at the loading screen and ideas on that thanks though
