  • i thought the tires were hot after sliding around on dirt. damn thats gotta get "smoking"

  • I think it's safe to say that he wasn't running any traction control LOL

  • good lord thats a lot of rubber down to be burning like that.

  • goodyear tires wouldnt have held up to that.

  • that clay gets real takey. you can hear cars chirp by feature

  • There goes 200 bucks.

  • @gokartracer13m last time I bought a right rear was in 93 and they were $450 back then

  • The track better not be like that when i go to the classic next week!?!?

  • Hard compound on a hard track will smoke em harder, 1/4 mile tracks are fun too.

  • the only problem with that is our tred is so small you only last half the race

  • That dude wanted that race! Wow, zoned.

  • actualy it is in asui. they run races just like us. thats why so many good sprint and midget drivers go there to train

  • alot of rubber

  • soft compound on a hard track would cause it to smoke like that u can see that the track was already taking rubber so therfore its hard as hell no bite left

  • most speedway classes in Australia run anti-clockwise like in the usa, only some street stock classes, hot rods and limited sportsman run clockwise, not every class.

  • what track is that?

  • Premier speedway,Warrnambool. Its a country town in south western Victoria,Australia.

  • I would say its just steam coming off the tire. Soft compound tire on a tacky track.

  • it looks like the brakes are burning but i guess it is the tire

  • man, my uncle was running streetstock in flomaton alabama in a 50 lap race, he was running a D-40 on his right rear, and he ended up finishing 3rd, well he came back in, and the whole tire, had to treads, it was burnt to the white threads haha

  • ya i have done that a lot in the sprint.over at a 3/8 mile dirt in Moberly MO... if it is black and slick we will burn up both right side tires down to the cords on a 30 lap a-main. there goes 200 dollars in tires.lol

  • lol, the d-40's are a soft tire, and a-40's are hard, we usually run a-40's and haven't ever burnt one up, but the d-40, good lord, haha, my uncle came off the track and was like, " man it felt so loose coming out the corner, i walked around and saw the tire, and i was like what the fuck? hahah

  • hey dud you are not on dirt quit trying to slid it in the turns.

    lol just joking good vid!

  • i was about to say lol, that is dirt, some tracks just manage to black over real fast.

  • Its not like its burning the tire, its just steam..... A really tacky track with a soft compound tire will do that.

  • haha

  • ive seen steve kinser smoke his tire but not like that. thats jus crazy and stupid hoosier tires cost alot of money and 2 go through a tire in a heat race is stupid

  • This is at Premier Speedway in Victoria, Australia

  • they race clockwise on circle tracks in austrailia.

  • i live in australia, and i race, your a freak, and you even spelt australia wrong

  • who gives a flying fuck?whats your point?are you the spelling police, you limey jerkoff?

  • i give a fuck, its the name of my country, i happen to take pride in it?

  • Stop arguing & watch the vid. By the way Limeys are English, not Aussie.

  • who settled austraila?the english,excactly.fuck off.period.

  • um have to say no it's not because all the dirt track racing i have seen from Australia they run clockwise which would be go fast turn right not left simple fact.

  • lol what are you talking about...every sprint car race held in austrlia is anti-clockwise. geez

  • @mod40fan all sprintcars in australia run anticlockwise, bar none.

  • That is one rubbered up dirt track. Quality tire or not he wouldn't have lasted long burning it down like that. What did the track look like by feature time?

  • The track wasn't bad by feature time as by then it was night and they had done some track prep.

  • it,s not a burnout it,s only smoke or somthing.

  • I can guarantee you that it was tire smoke and not oil by the amount of rubber that was left on my face!

  • @SprintCarRacing you are right it is the tires smoking from the packed down track. It is just the tires are spinning so fast that it creates smoke

  • @xxsugarplushoneyxx It was smoke....Been there done that....To soft of a tire on a rubberd down track....

  • guy says its during a heat race, and the track is that bad already? id hate to see what it was like during the feature race

  • I say testament to those hoosier's and the driver!

  • roste that tire!

  • Thats dirt dumasses. SLick tracks like that are soo hard to drive on and keep it straight like that thatz pretty good driving lol

  • Governor My Ass, Looks Like Dirt To Me With A Lot Of Rubber Laid Down!

  • lol! bye bey governer!!! dude he got his governor off! sprint cars wouldnt go tht fast with out it off!

  • wait wait wait, I hope you were kidding because At no point in your rambling, incoherent response were you even close to anything that could be considered a rational thought. Everyone on the internet is now dumber for having listened to it. I award you no points, and may God have mercy on your soul.

  • haha thats wut the guy said on billy madison.

  • thats the first time i've seen somebody race a sprint car on pavement with dirt style. that take skill.

  • damn thats on pavement i just thought it was some hard dry ass clay

    crazy video man

  • sick as top bloke takin one for the team

  • That is the baddest thing i have ever seen i drive a sprint on dirt but that takes huge balls and a hell of a driver. Dirt tracken on pavement so badass!!!

  • the only reason there is smoke is cause this track is very poorly maintained these cars require a wet corner to get sideways and come out of the turns at 100 kph think about it... the outside tyres of these cars are worth about $2500nzd each so why would you purposly kill a tyre in one race? oh and btw "sprintcars"??? these are MODIFIEDS or as we call em at waikaraka park HORRIFIEDS!!!!

  • What drugs are you on? Theses are sprintcars -no body front wing etc- not modifieds! And the Tyres are $600nz.

  • You could not be any more wrong. They ARE sprintcars - look in no way like a modified. They do NOT need a wet corner to go sideways, and the tyres cost nowhere near that much.

  • your a dork

  • Your fucking retarded. you know abosolutly nothing about oval racing. These are sprint cars, not modifieds. Modifieds are open wheeled in the front. This is on a pavement track, the driver is a dumbass because your not supposed to slide around the corners on pavement. You don't know fucking shit about sprint cars. Tires don't cost that much, Go fucking die and hang yourself. Your fucking stupid. Go to hell and burn alive. Your a total douche bag and your a beaten test tube baby.

  • dillonbf, dude this track aint pavement, its premier speedway at warnambool in victoria aus and it was the second night of a pretty big event so the track was taking rubber on the second night

  • Holy shit, your right. My bad, I thought it was pavement. Wow the sanctioner of that track doesen't know how to take care of that track at all.

  • so it seems your rant was unwarrantable eh? just goes to show how pathetic some people are behind their computers...

  • This isn't pavement... ugh, why is the human race so dumb.

  • That is a dirt track, look at about :11, you can see the chalk line marking the inside of the corner. That track just took rubber quickly. The way to rid the smoke is more wing and a harder Right rear tire.

  • Sweet!!...I've seen latemodels do smoke the RR tire but can't say I've ever seen a sprint ...I didn't think they'd b heavy enough

  • well i dont tihnk thats a huge deal i live in BC Canada and my home track Western Speedway the 360 Sprint Car boys do that through the entire A Main Event, they are on ashphalt but the heavy wieght boys race like its a dirt track (Western Speedway has 6% banking thats how they can do it)

  • yeah this tire stood up under 8-10 laps of a heat race, but there is no way it would last through the A.

  • I work at HOOSIER RACING TIRES, INC. It's nice to see the tires I help build stand up to the name.

  • @busymotherof3 Hey i race Go Kart and i oud like to be sponsored b you guys.

  • damn, that shit was wild. crazy power.

  • was this when todd wanless had the big crash?

  • Yep, this was shot on the same day as Todd's crash

  • thought so..thanks

  • Stevie Smith JR?

  • holy crap.

  • damn, i have never seen a track that dry

  • Was that track real dry?

  • Sure was. This was the 2nd night of the Grand Annual Sprintcar Classic in Australia. The 1st night was washed out, so racing started in the afternoon on the 2nd night. It was raining rubber!
