Jorden, nice appearance and informative regarding your activities. May I suggest exploring more in your videos more feelings and learned insights of your developing feminine being. It may not be your style to be too girly with all this, but I think followers are quite interested in your internal growth and emotions as much as your activities. Include how as a girl your preceptions and responses to people and events have changed since beginning transition. And keep up your self-acceptance!

I have been on hormones for four years. Everything changes as most of you know. I've been involved with martial arts for the last 15 years and had to completely change my technique to be effective. My body and mind are all female now, from 5'8 165 to 5' 7" 135. I love the way my body and face looks but no way could I compete like a man. After a while on hormones, your just not the same. What I like about the documentary is that it represented all sides of the story; Michelle herself, other racers, and governing bodies like IOC. @Rawrlor (couldnt fit this) by not allowing her to play in the same league as other females, one would essentially be saying that she is not a female in some aspect, and defeating her in a major struggle of her life. its unfair and cruel to do that. its just like saying that men who arent as sporty must play with woman, but on a scale that is through the roof. keep in mind the fact that she fights every day to be recognized as a woman by society. she is by law, but not all people see it the same
@Rawrlor i dont no if you understand the circumstances. 1, by transitioning, she took estrogen and testosterone killers. this will alter the muscle makeup (make you lose muscle mass) and remove some of the male edge. on top of that, some woman have more ability based on genes and not on practice. this allows for the idea that she just has a better makeup than most others. 2, if she wasnt playing in the proper league, how can she be seen as female in that part of her life. Its all about equality.
I am not sure it is fair to allow transexual women the ability to play female sports. Male bones are thicker and men have are more athletically explosive than women in general. I play coed intermurals at my university and always beat women for speed and strength, no matter what their body type is. I'm not even the most athletic guy out there either.
@Rawrlor hey there. i wont beat this to death cuz @BoyOfTheTURTLES did a good job, but youre right. men shouldn't be able to, but i am in no way a man. bone density, speed, power, weight, adrenaline, power all took a huge dive, and really i had to relearn how to play as a female cuz i used to get killed mid transtition. Now i have a complete understanding of the game as male and females play it, and also played for entire year in a mexican culture absorbing the best components of their game.
@Rawrlor Also, soccer was what kept me sane through my transition. it gave me a new group of friends that did not know me before, and allowed me to develope into this person. I pushed myself into it and was playing 5 and 6 games a week in mexican leagues. My style is so multi dimensional now and my soccer iq is thru the roof. my skill does not come from my "used-to-being" male. it comes from a partnership with the intricacies of the beautiful sport. i am not even the best girl, not unfair

I love playing hockey,....and now that I have began hormones and a transition into a women my game play has absolutely changed.... I found it to be true straight across the board...wether im surfing or playing hockey...I have had to re-aproach and relearn how to play as a gir! weather you are a natural born woman OR transwoman on hormones....YOU definitely ARE a woman and should be playing with the women!

@Rawrlor As a Trans man, I can tell you the "advantage" you speak of has nothing to do with being a "man" or a "woman". It's all about the hormones that shape your body. I can beat biological men in arm wrestles no problem, and I bench 190 lbs five times. Because of HRT (testosterone) I am much stronger and "explosive" than women could generally be. Because she is also on HRT (estrogen) she would be at the same physical advantage as most women. Her history has nothing to do with it.

After one year on testosterone and DHT blockers with lots of estrodiol, I have lost over half my muscle mass, gained Girl fat in my thighs, ass, and breasts.& yes I have breasts. Bone density has nothing to do with it , once your testosterone is 34ng/ml your biologically equal except some girls have higher T which makes them stronger & more aggressive so your just a bigot. Learn a thing or two before spouting off uneducated crap!

@nhusean hey. i am 6'2" 165 (was down to 157 before 7 months of college sports got me all ripped) and my shoe size is 11 in female. when i started this transition, i was 6'2", 210 lbs (a little heavy from being in a relationsihip but averaged around 185-190) and my shoe size was 12 in mens. your bones do not shrink, but all the muschles in your hands, ribs, shoulders feet all shrink and so all those things get smaller, more frail and fem. dont sweat it. tall is beautiful. ask any normal girl =)
@minorqback taller is better but at six foot five I hit my head under low doors sometimes. finding shoes to fit is special order.size 15 is not common in the Sacramento region. As for weight, that changes with activity and hormone levels. I have seen big trans girls at support groups and skinny ones. But You are right about everything shrinking a little except breasts and butt. My ring size on all fingers are even a size smaller now. Order stuff online if you cant find it local.<3

Jordan! I'm 16, In the research phases of the whole transition thing. I'm trying to lose weight now, and I'm in my 160's or so. and I have a hip waist ratio of 0.78(if that's important), would losing weight give me a more masculine figure? I'm 5'11.5 btw.

What I like about the documentary is that it represented all sides of the story; Michelle herself, other racers, and governing bodies like IOC. It is worth the watch for everyone who may have an opinion...or those who never thought about it. Please seek it out

@Rawrlor (couldnt fit this) by not allowing her to play in the same league as other females, one would essentially be saying that she is not a female in some aspect, and defeating her in a major struggle of her life. its unfair and cruel to do that. its just like saying that men who arent as sporty must play with woman, but on a scale that is through the roof. keep in mind the fact that she fights every day to be recognized as a woman by society. she is by law, but not all people see it the same

@Rawrlor i dont no if you understand the circumstances. 1, by transitioning, she took estrogen and testosterone killers. this will alter the muscle makeup (make you lose muscle mass) and remove some of the male edge. on top of that, some woman have more ability based on genes and not on practice. this allows for the idea that she just has a better makeup than most others. 2, if she wasnt playing in the proper league, how can she be seen as female in that part of her life. Its all about equality.

I am not sure it is fair to allow transexual women the ability to play female sports. Male bones are thicker and men have are more athletically explosive than women in general. I play coed intermurals at my university and always beat women for speed and strength, no matter what their body type is. I'm not even the most athletic guy out there either.

@Rawrlor hey there. i wont beat this to death cuz @BoyOfTheTURTLES did a good job, but youre right. men shouldn't be able to, but i am in no way a man. bone density, speed, power, weight, adrenaline, power all took a huge dive, and really i had to relearn how to play as a female cuz i used to get killed mid transtition. Now i have a complete understanding of the game as male and females play it, and also played for entire year in a mexican culture absorbing the best components of their game.

@Rawrlor Also, soccer was what kept me sane through my transition. it gave me a new group of friends that did not know me before, and allowed me to develope into this person. I pushed myself into it and was playing 5 and 6 games a week in mexican leagues. My style is so multi dimensional now and my soccer iq is thru the roof. my skill does not come from my "used-to-being" male. it comes from a partnership with the intricacies of the beautiful sport. i am not even the best girl, not unfair

@minorqback I completely agree with everything you said about trans girls playing sports.. I love playing hockey,....and now that I have began hormones and a transition into a women my game play has absolutely changed.... I found it to be true straight across the board...wether im surfing or playing hockey...I have had to re-aproach and relearn how to play as a gir! weather you are a natural born woman OR transwoman on hormones....YOU definitely ARE a woman and should be playing with the women!

Billy Jean King showed that atheletic talent regardless of gender issues dont mean a hoot despite never meeting Renee Richards who lost before meeting her in the tournament.

@Rawrlor As a Trans man, I can tell you the "advantage" you speak of has nothing to do with being a "man" or a "woman". It's all about the hormones that shape your body. I can beat biological men in arm wrestles no problem, and I bench 190 lbs five times. Because of HRT (testosterone) I am much stronger and "explosive" than women could generally be. Because she is also on HRT (estrogen) she would be at the same physical advantage as most women. Her history has nothing to do with it.

After one year on testosterone and DHT blockers with lots of estrodiol, I have lost over half my muscle mass, gained Girl fat in my thighs, ass, and breasts.& yes I have breasts. Bone density has nothing to do with it , once your testosterone is 34ng/ml your biologically equal except some girls have higher T which makes them stronger & more aggressive so your just a bigot. Learn a thing or two before spouting off uneducated crap!

i kind of thought there were eligibliy requirments based on age and when you started school. good luck with the tryout.
check into getting coaching cerified with at least a "B" level cert. you can at a minimum, coach high school soccer.

Hey Jordan glad to hear you are getting some down time and that you have a great opportunity on the horizon for the pros! Even though to you hun it may seem that your more recent vids are less inspirational and not as "meaty" with less depth, I can say that hearing how you are succeeding and excelling in life (not without obstacles of course) working hard at what you do, makes me want to be on the top of my game as a playwright/musician. You will find "The Zone," in advocacy.

@nhusean hey. i am 6'2" 165 (was down to 157 before 7 months of college sports got me all ripped) and my shoe size is 11 in female. when i started this transition, i was 6'2", 210 lbs (a little heavy from being in a relationsihip but averaged around 185-190) and my shoe size was 12 in mens. your bones do not shrink, but all the muschles in your hands, ribs, shoulders feet all shrink and so all those things get smaller, more frail and fem. dont sweat it. tall is beautiful. ask any normal girl =)

@minorqback taller is better but at six foot five I hit my head under low doors sometimes. finding shoes to fit is special order.size 15 is not common in the Sacramento region. As for weight, that changes with activity and hormone levels. I have seen big trans girls at support groups and skinny ones. But You are right about everything shrinking a little except breasts and butt. My ring size on all fingers are even a size smaller now. Order stuff online if you cant find it local.<3

Jordan; great to hear from you, and Happy 2012! I love your positive attitude, and how when an obstacle is thrown in your way, you seek out an alternative route to reach your goals. Jordan! I'm 16, In the research phases of the whole transition thing. I'm trying to lose weight now, and I'm in my 160's or so. and I have a hip waist ratio of 0.78(if that's important), would losing weight give me a more masculine figure? I'm 5'11.5 btw.

@dzividani you are gonna be hotter and more fem than any of your genetic girl friends. hormones change everything. my hips are changing a lot in the last couple months too. but dont even worry. you see what i looked like before. totall guy. and i was 25 when i started. you are gonna experience real female puberty and dodge all the male puberty that i and most of us went thru. just talk to a psych and go get your pills. and being tall is SUCH a GOOD thing. you'll love it.
