These things are awesome. but i could never get one when i really wanted it 3 years ago. but how much do they usually go for since they stopped production?
I use to be into these kind of things when I was a little kid. I had RoboDog, RoboLizard, RoboBird, and recently got RoboRaptor. They are NOTHING compared to these. :]
How are these different though? Are they worth the money? :]
Do you think that they might be less active in the yard because being in the tall grass makes their sensors think that there is not much room to move around?
latin-v i am in the middle of getting a 210 and before i buy i wanted to ask you if you think a 14 year old would get tired of a 20 fairly quickly from the ringtone sounds?
It was the fist time I took them outside. I was guessing they would move around but they were just totally lazy instead. With aibos it is unpredictable when you switch on a camera :D.
Some owners have very active aibos outside. I will have to bring my 210 out, I am sure that one will walk around and explore.
My dogs were not to keen on the robots the first few days. Now as you can see, no more fear. It did take some getting used to as they make all sorts of weird noises.
Oh they vary. Best bet would be to look them up on ebay under the name AIBO. The style above is a bit on the expensive side. 210's tend to be a bit more affordable and are loads of fun as well.
Because they are no longer being made by sony, you can get them via private sales (on forums like I did) or ebay (ebay you run a risk of getting scammed, so I avoid it).
Aibo looks like the dog version of the stormtroopers from star wars

why did they stop making AIBO i cant find them so im assuming they have been discontinued?
WereWolfRedx 4 years ago
As far as I know sony stopped making them because they were not selling as well as their other products (such as tv's, cameras and such).
Sadly aibo is no longer sold by them but you can find them on ebay and private sales on aibo forums.
LatinVixen 4 years ago
D: they dont sell them any more ? no wonder i couldnt find them any were.
