@crohnie03livefree If you think he actually works for us you're dreaming. LaRoque is one of the prime examples of corrupt legislators. He's only honest in the fact that he stays bought by the special interests once he takes their money. He's also one of the idiots that parrots all the government propaganda since it makes money for him. I have the misfortune to have dealt with the knockwad in the past. He's a supercilious, sanctimonious, corrupt hypocrite.
state representative Stephen LaRoque has effectively killed this bill and stymied the legislative process by keeping the bill stuck in the house rules committee. This man, who had so many ethical problems, is keeping patients from their medication:
Glad some one is doing something about this injustice...I'm disabled with chronic shoulder pain do to a chipped loose rotator cuff and lower region pain do to acute cystitis.sometimes the pain gets so great it makes you not want to be around other people.even after taking my prescribed medications the pain can be nagging and irritating.i have found that marijuana brings immediate relief and makes life manageable and think I would benefit from hemp oil.A lot better then percocet ruin my kidneys.
i have had crohn's for 11 years now im 26 im 6'2 an way 130.. marijuana has saved my life with out it would not be able to gain the appetite i need to eat or keep the food down that i ate it helps with my depression an anxieties i dont drink nor do i mess with any other drugs i have found myself here today to say with erything wrong in the world legalize marijuana so the people that can benefit from it can do so ... we need to focus on the people hurting an stealing from others

I am from North Carolina, I am paralyzed from my neck down and suffer from severe muscle spasms and cannabis worked before. Since my collecting guns I stopped using. So I don't get in trouble with the law. What can I do to help this campaign?
My friend who is dying of cancer would love to be able to grow his own medicine, which he prefers over pharmaceuticals. But, he is terrified of the consequences of getting caught: the State will seize his home and make him homeless. Instead, he spends what little money he has on low grade cannabis that he gets from a former co-worker, who gets it from a Mexican. It is so wrong for the government to criminalize those who have found relief from their suffering by using this wondrous plant.

My mother suffers from lung and brain cancer, I believe daily doses of Hemp
oil would help her greatly if this bill passes it might just well give my mother many more years to live.

@jeffxl12 How do you post comments or use a keyboard? By the way, try going to ncmedicalcannabis(dot)org/billtracker.aspx and email congressmen.
