Oh, do I see Zabriskie Point and Badwater in this video? Maybe a ghost town or two? Death Valley ..... very appropriate. One of my favourite places, once seen, never forgotten, and I regret that I won't see it again.
Man, I used to hack on the 90s for its shitty music. But I think I was too harsh. This stuff is fucking Mozart compared to the McSongs that pass for "music" now.
This song was dedicated to Dave Coulier from Full House, he was her boyfriend (who then dumped her). Wonder how he felt every time this song was played back in the 90's. What goes around comes around Dave. As for Alanis, she recently had a baby boy (Congrats to her).
@miles68tam Yeah it's kind of like when they take the F word out of A Perfect Circle "Passive" it loses some of it's edge. "You disappoint me maybe you're better off this way" versus "You fucking disappointing me maybe you're better off this way."
Hi guys, our bassist made a bet that we want him to lose, so help us out :D
He bet a girl that if we got less than 11000 total views on our videos and 10 comments by tomorrow , she has to go out with him, if we get more than that (only 800 to go) he loses and gets nothing! So cmon guys, help us teach him a lesson and check out a song at our youtube ;D
@BurtonJacker That's cool, the first song I ever listened to was R.E.M. "South Central Rain (I'm Sorry)" and it was the first song I learned to play on guitar.
@hollynat oh i know my little sisters have the bieber fever, all over the walls all they listen too its a rule that when they come to my house there is no justin bieber talk . i just dont understand the crap that there listening to .
Wow...that same year in 95 my boyfriend of 3 months (ok, we'd been sleeping together for years) dumped me for a fat chick! I kid you not...I was 118 lbs and was gorgeous....talk about being kicked in the gutt!...I swear Alanis wrote this song for me!
I can relate to this song. Back in 1995 I dislocated my hip in a car accident. My hip not only totaled, but my 1991 car and a NEW Union job I had started a few days prior. My new boyfriend of 3 months dumped me like a bad habit over a month later.
He went for a 110 pound shapely, well endowed woman, that is why he dumped me, and she dumped him about 2 months later.
I actually saw him cry later on. He told me that he was getting back what he gave to me.

Jacket little pill was a staple in my life I remember riding to school holing my CD player flat because it would skip if it was moved at all and singing as loud as I could to this!!!!
What a great song... I was only 7 when this came out and I remember thinking it was catchy but I was also really oblivious to music at that age. Been years since I've heard this song. Today I ordered Jagged Little Pill, looking forward to listening to a full album of this stuff
Jagged Little Pill is one of the best albums ever made. Jagged Little Pill and Guns and Roses' Appetite for Destruction are the only 2 albums that I can say I like EVERY single song on the CD. Guns and Roses ruled the 80's whereas Alanis ruled the 90's.
And of course every woman who has ever been spurned by a man can relate to the message of Alanis' music.
I have dubbed this song- The Angry Ex Girlfriend. I have been there, done that and this song was perfect for when I went through those times of being cheated on/dumped. Thank goodness those days are long over. Even though they are but nothing of memories in the past, this song will still remain awesome.
this is still on my ipod !! along with many others of hers !! I agree with hollynat up there too !! so glad she was my ere insted of justin bieber !

just saying.
You could be the most gorgeous woman on this planet, and judging by your attitude, you were probably a straight up bitch.
and this other WOMAN (not fat chick) but woman, was probably a million times better than you.
Alanis doesn't write for egotistical broads such as yourself.
