  • I always liked this track! First heard it back in the 1960s transcribed onto the LP "Blue Guitars", which I bought in "Rare Records", the store that used to be on John Dalton Street in Manchester, UK.

  • @crab5mt How old were the people playing these 1920s Phonographs or Gramophones?

  • @n64wilbert Hi! I tried to answer this yesterday, but Youtube wasn't accepting replies at that time.

I'm not sure what you're asking me. If you mean how old was I when I bought the LP, I was around 17 to 18 years old. I don't think I was typical of my peers in what I listened to! If you mean how old were Eddie Lang and Lonnie Johnson, I would guess they were in their late twenties to early thirties.

I know that Eddie Lang had died in the early 1930s after a tonsillectomy which went badly wrong.

  • @crab5mt Pardon me I was asking the People whom were at the Record store in the 1960s?

  • @n64wilbert I would guess most of the other customers would have been in their 30s to 50s at the time. I wasn't typical of my friends in what I listened to. I'm still not!
