this is probably one of my favorite clarinet pieces of all time. btw this concerto is in E minor, not Eb minor. When I played this, a screw came out of my clarinet soon after 5:10 and a whole post all but fell off. I had to stop in the middle of the piece, fix it, and keep on going. Nice recording.
@sparrowclarinet1 That story is going to give me nightmares. I can see it happening though, this piece is a major trial for any player or clarinet. The post didn't come off in the middle of the trill did it? That would've been... interesting.
Great recording, absolutely stunning performance. I couldn't believe how good it sounded around 9:20.
my favorite all time would have to be either brahms... or debussy. but i can never really pick between the two because their music is absolutely gorgeous. ya know?
