The led set that I got (Tiny Brite Lights Deluxe Large Airplane set) came pre-wired with a blinking strobe for the tail, one red, one green and three white.
I have flown her for the past 2 nights. It is really surprisingly easy to track and keep orientation at night. I need to add a few more lights to the back of the wings though. At lower altitudes the plane tends to all but disappear when going away from you, especially in the turn.
Somehow this one squeezed through my Sub box unseen.
Good choice of plane!

@lbchuma I glued and taped a piece of 4mm carbon fiber rod onto the bottom of the wing just behind the leading edge.

Lol, thats cool as hell. How did you get the LED on the tail to blink? Can you buy them like that or does it require an additional circuit?
