I just killed the turrets by making the orange orb go through a portal at them, then made the orb go through a portal and quickly opened that door to the left, then went down to the under bit made a portal on each side flung myself into the box room, took it back and voila

This is advanced 18, not normal one. There are less places you can create portals here, and no orange orbs.

I just tried and failed to kill the turrets a couple times and then to super jump using the wall and the little platform down low. after failing several variations on all that I came up with the plan to do this but checked online because i thought there was no way they'd expect me to do that.

I did it by taking out every turret one at a time. I started by taking out closest turret on the right using the camera on the wall, then i took all the other ones out by flinging to them from behind.

for the cube i killed the guns using the camera and jumping to their platforms to grab some of them. I then would hit the button place the portal then jump down to another portal below. this sent me flying back to the second portal which sent me over to the cube.

The second part I can do much faster. Instead of placing a portal on the slanted piece that extends, I shot one across the gap on the floor in front of the 2 ledges. Then I went back the same way and fell into a new portal to propel myself up to get the cube. Now just grab the cube and go back into the portal you came out of. That way you can skip the step of going to the bottom ledge just to hit the switch. Then the rest is simple.

I did this different and much longer way. First I knocked out all turrets by making portal behind em and killing them. Then I went to cube room by making huge jump directly upwards by using wall and that platform under cube room.

This pretty nice tactic.

Here's a tip:

In the room where you made the blue portal while falling down, LEAVE YOUR BLUE PORTAL THERE and just use the momentum from the jump to get across the room. Get the cube, and I don't know if many noticed this but, there's a small platform on the bottom right where the cube is. It's leveled with the sewage water. Take the cube, jump down onto it (you can't miss it lol) careful with the turrets, make the orange portal and wallah! Back in the other room without the hassle!

It's possible but you have to do it FAST because you must literally double track to fetch your cube to be usable from that blue portal by retracking back to the switch then quickly portaling back to level ground in the turret room and quickly get back out before you are locked in.

Yeh I too got rid of the turrets first, then I set up a portal just above the protruding wall that sticks out in the top left corner, I then triggered the moving wall, jumped on to the protruding wall put a portal on said moving wall then jumped on to the floor in front of the button and launched my self over that way.

Now seeing your way I wish I had thought of it lol.

Excellent walkthrough. One thing I noticed is that when you do the last part, you looked directly into the portal as you were fallling, which helped to alleviate some of the camera issues coming out of the next hole. Thank you for posting this!

I did the same thing you did, but instead of having to open the door a second time in the turret room after you grab the box, I would just leave a portal outside the door and walk right through.

This definitely isn't on God mode because I just did it myself. Great strategy. This is the first video I used for an Advanced map because I was just completely lost, so thanks.

Also, that last part is probably the hardest because of the camera issue as others have stated. Using this guide, that's probably the part you'll have to redo the most.

i did it differently, when i jumped into the turrets room i shot a portal on the lowest platform, then got the cube and just fell with it through the portal, and we arrived in the previous room, and then used portals to get the cube to the button :)

In that part the platforms begin to lower after you pass them. So when you go up to shoot a portal, if you miss you're out of luck. You land on a portal with only 1 side created (so its just solid blue/orange).

you do know that just going down to the right of that one room would have been faster, but at least you got through, by far the "hardest" of all the rooms, I believe it throws people off because of the turret room, when you look back its rather easy to get through that room.
