You know, I picked up a minidisc player the other day (old formats fascinate me) and I'm shocked to find that they sound absolutely amazing. I've been transferring music using the optical from my PS3. Incredible bass and vocal clarity!
Hey, sweet minidisc player man! Does it feel sturdier than the mz-rh1? I had an mz-rh1 and ended up selling it on as it felt a little too flimsy (plus I found the toggle/ joystick/button a bit annoying). Is the opening of the device spring loaded? Thanks

Youre wrong! Yeah MP3's portable and shit, but minidisc is relatively portable, and it delivers CD quality in an MP3 sized system

Player only. The thinnest MD units are pretty much always just players. However the MZ-N10 is quite thin, and it records ;)
