1927 should have been huge around the world, but it wasn't to be. 'That's when I think of you' was promoted by Simon Bates on Radio 1 in the UK in 1989 in the days when the station could make a song a hit. Perhaps the song and the band's whole style was too sophisticated for the charts at the time as dance music and Stock Aitken Waterman dominated. Tweny years on the album 'Ish' still sounds fantastic. It's a shame the band did not do promotion in Europe as far as I remember.

I remember way back enjoying their music and as it happens I sat at drums for Eric Weidermann (Spelling?) at a bush 40th around 6 years ago.

He performed all his hits as a solo that night and we jammed as a four piece for two sets after that involving mainly covers with a few of his more recent compos.
