I agree, it's too bad more care wasn't taken with this, you might have actually been able to sing along. The vocal track should be blank for it to be really karaoke, not that MIDI insertion. and the video is totally wrong for the somberness of the lyrics. This version "R.E.M - Half a world away (live acoustic) " has a better suited video. I half expect to see Julie Andrews with a guitar jump out of a bush in this video.
