  • Dude what r u talking about havlat was never a shark?

  • Ur THE PRICK

  • nice homo graphic tee faggot.

  • Yea, imma fuckin allstar, it was too hot in san jose anyway ye'know, yea. Thornton and Marleau arn't allstars

  • @2550505 wtf are you talking about yeah they are

  • @danynumero6 Yeah, imma fuckin allstar. I got a cottage and boat ye'know, Marleau and Thornton dont have a cottage. Fuk, can i trade your coments in?

  • @jeffyskinner53 Havlat never whined about his contract! Get your facts straight! He wanted more playing time but Richards always kissed Koivu's ass. Havlat never said a WORD about his contract, typical Wild fan Koivu worship, its like a cult up there I swear, thank god Havlats out of there!

  • @misticg3 personally, how do you think Havlat will do with the Sharks?

  • @misticg3 Yeah he whined about his playing time.....

  • @jeffyskinner53 Koivu's a prima donna and jealous of Havlat. Koivu couldn't get a long with Havlat, since the only reason Havlat was brought in was to play with "King Koivu" who is over-rated and over-paid

  • the wild needed a new gaborik after marian left and now we do with heatley bringing some heat to the wild offense along with setoguchi, fletcher is definitely the GM that the wild need.

  • Wild needed star power. so its good for us to get a house hold name. Havlat gunna miss you buddy

  • @getcrunked3 Who's a household name, Heatley???? HA

  • @misticg3 dude minny is buzzing about this. we r the state of hockey. everyone lives hockey here up north. so we are all pretty excited

  • I'm a huge Wild Fan and big time follower on the NHL. All in all Minnesota got the better end of the deal here. Why? We finally have our missing ingredient, a goal scorer. San Jose has one, Pavelski Marleau and Thornton. If u put Mikko Koivu on a line with Heatly or Setoguchi we will score goals. Mikko Koivu is one of the most underated players in the league. His problem is that he can dish the puck and set people up in his sleep but he hasn't had that goal scorer to help him out. Heatly is the

  • Dude, your hat is on backwards.

  • Sad to see Marty go....glad to see minny finally gets the goal scorer they need! GO WILD

  • @jeffyskinner53 Granlund is fuggen gold. For your sake, I hope both Seto and Heater aren't as streaky and inconsistent as they were at times for the Sharks. With those two, you don't know if you will get 80 goals between them, or 25 goals between them. And for our sakes, I hope Burns gives us all star seasons every year

  • @jeffyskinner53 Take it from someone who has watched Heater consistently the past years.. The guy can put the puck in the net just as well as he can shank on opportunities that should have been easy goals. Also, more than anything else, his leg strength has deteriorated which is why he isn't able to break free from pressure and be in scoring position as well as he used to. I know Havlat isn't a burner, but he is faster than Heater, and doesnt cost 7.5 mill. Best of luck with him

  • just wait till havlat has a GOOD team behind him. this, is gonna be good.

  • @efrainthegreat AMEN

  • This deal is good. The Sharks needed a PLAYOFFS guy... not a scorer who is overpaid.

  • Sharks traded for Havlat plain and simple for cap space and to get some much needed speed on the wings.

People think Sharks are going backwards this offseason... I'll wait until the season actually starts before I say if these moves worked or not.

You can feed numbers by numbers all you want, but I'm pretty sure cap space and speed is the primary reasons DW made the move.

Like others say DW is definitely not done and this is only part of the big picture.

    Happy 4th of July!!

  • @macky592 the Burns trade will help them the most giving them a quality top 3-4 now on the back end. I dont think this trade hurts San Jose at all. But could benefit Minny.

  • @IntheOT oh yeah. So far, the Burns trade was the best in terms of helping the Sharks. We were all waiting for this type of move last year and never really got it.

I think the other reason Heatley got dealt was DW didn't think he got what he could have, regardless of the reasons. But 5 goals in 32 playoff games.

Havlat may be the more complete player, but I only got to see one full season of a Healthy Heatley. Minny probably is playoff team with Heaters and Seto.

  • @IntheOT i think the burns trade favors minnesota big time. burns has one year on his contract and he and he has the same agent marian gaborik had and would have left the wild next year anyway. and we added two first round prospects and a young 2nd liner

  • @IntheOT the wild have never had a premeir forward? what about gaborik

  • Heatley along side with spezza an alfredsson was greatness!

  • sharks lost speed in setoguchi. thats y they traded for the speedy havlat.

  • worth it in the end thanks minnesota for giving us a good player for a tired old sniper

  • I guess Sharks fans are the only ones that know about Heatley. Heatley tore his groin in the 2010 playoffs and hasn't been the same player since(Cheecho as well)He skates like a 50 year old now. He doesnt go to the hard areas and usually scored goals when the sharks were losing by a lot or winning by a lot. He cannot play playoff hockey anymore plain and simple. Minnestoa you will see this very soon. I hope he works out for you but I think we won in this trade as well as the Gouch/Burns trade.

  • @longdayer I agree but Havlat is not any better. I guess to save $2.5 million for similiar players it was worth it.

  • @IntheOT I dont know about that. I think Heatley and Havlat are as good as each other. They're just different kinds of players.

  • @longdayer I was listening to you until you said you won the "Gouch/Burns trade". How does Minnesota lose that trade? They get a shooter, a great prospect in Charlie Coyle and this years 28th overall pick (Zack Philiips big point getter)

@IntheOT Sounds like you got a long lasting grudge against Heatley....

  • @andrewkillify You could say the same about Havlat, the only difference is Heatley scores and Havlat is a playmaker. Wild fans (me included) were always complaining about Havlat coasting which he does a lot! Good change of scenery for both I think.

  • "we need to get rid of this guy. did you see how oblivious he was to Kronwall nailing him, and how ineffective he has been since?"

  • I think Minnesota did good job on this trade why not havelet didnt work out and i liked the other trade they got san jose 1st rounder from last year and 1st rounder this year and Devin Setoguchi

  • I like your positivity, Heatley is equal to Havlat in my eyes as far as a sharks fan, kinda confused on the trade and was mad heatley didnt live up the goal scorer the sharks needed. But with the trades the sharks have made....I think Havlat will fit better with sharks...and I think Heaters with fit better in Minni. I really hope heaters gives your fans the money your team spends....OR kick his ass! Im saying the same for Hav's

  • @VWFrazy Heatley was dealing with a lot of injuries. He had a broken hand, a high ankle sprain, and I think he still had a groin injury from the year before.
