peter had lots of style, maybe more so than skills. if you want chops listen to early Rush or some jazz drummers. His "simulated" double bass beat with snare ghost strokes is legendary.  He used a similar beat on DRC and acrobat.

This is my favorite rock drum solo of all time. I can play it, but not the way Peter did. He was (and still is) a monster on the drum kit. No one compares to him.
