Hey, Thanks so much for the video! Ithelped me out alot! Just wondering.. would it fly with the wings being 3/16 instead of 3/32? if so should I change anything else, to keep the proportion the same? Again, Thanks, and any incite into it will be greatly appreciated! :)
@CreatureCarlForThWin Thanks!! I'm not sure if the 3/16's would change the dimensions. I would assume that it would not. If I were you I'd keep them the same. It might actually fly better because the increased weight might help it fly further (and better). Thanks again for commenting!!
Hi do u know how to make it fly in a straight path inside a room? Also do you have any tips on flying it and where i should put the weight in.. im using pennies for it should i put it on the wings?
@peebeenjaye Hi! The tail wing seemed to have the greatest effect on making it fly straight. Also, the more weight you use (depending on the size of the plane), the more smoother it'll fly. I wouldn't put them on the wings because it might be hard to keep the plane balanced. I'd either place it on the front (like in the video) or on the body of the plane in the center of the main wing. Thanks for watching! Let me know how it goes and have fun!!! :)
@RichsMethods Thanks, also is there a way for it to fly more than 12m? im doing my phsyics project on this and i seem to have trouble hand launching it myself.. any tips on that as well? it would really help! ( due thursday ._. )
@peebeenjaye Not sure if this is too late, but try holding it closer to the tail end (instead of the middle) when launching it.
To get it to fly longer you'd probably have the plane bigger or throw it with more force. Perhaps using a large rubber band to launch the plane might help. I thought about adding a screw or nail to the bottom of the plane to use as a place to put the rubber band.
GOOD LUCK! Definitely let me know how it turns out!!
WOw!! Thanks alot man... I manage to learn a lot from ur Video... I have an Upcoming Competition in making a Glider. I was very Blur cuz i had NEVER know anything about Glider... Thanks to ur Hardwork Video, i manage to learn something... So ya, THANKS A LOT! Love ya!
@ItIzWhatItIz2012 Well.. probably that guy Rob. Nah, j/k my buddy Rich is very awesome.. so it's hard to compare :-P Doesn't matter who's better, only that we both have some fun and do our best to explain things clearly so that people can make it :-)
First! Omg Rich this is so awesome, I am going to go to Michael's and pick up some balsa wood right after our test on Monday and make this! Great job, excellent instructions, as always :-)

dude, ur plane is too heavy....with this size u would need to make a wing skeleton of the balsa wood and use paper as skin to reduce the weight!

the bend that you make in the wing is actually called a diheadral :)

Thumbs up if you noticed that the cat runs after the plane in bloobers all the time :D
