after seeing this video i cannot believe that HPI didnt go 4 wheel drive on their models i had both the baja 5b and the 5T and sold them because after high speeds i would end up fishtailing out of controll especially with the 5b but this buggy in the video looks like it hadles great not bad thumbs up!!!

@dogcatcherish Just to clarify this is not a nitro car it is gas (2-stroke). Nitro tends to be faster than gas, but thats not to say that with gear changes and power pipes you can't get the thing close nitro performance. As far as Electric vs Fuel driven RC cars - Electric motors are faster off the line mast the time but time speeds can be similar on same model style. Plus there are more options for running electric motors (i.e. - increased voltage)

@repilound123 A stock 5B is about as fast, especially since the Barca's engine wasn't properly tuned and broken in. A common tread in RC is to copy what works. As long as Exceed doesn't claim they invented the chassis design, "no harm, no foul". I might get one for an EP Conversion. It is 4WD, after all.

@ online baja its one cc difference from your car but main difference is the xtra drag from it being 4wd . you cant compare it to the baja cause its not a copy unlike the hk version. i have 4 different cars from nitro rcx and all of them have been the best in quality keep up the good work nitrorcx !!

heres an example of shit part quality they just wont admit it . a baja 5b you could take off as high of a jump as you want and you most likely wont break any thing.

@pimpinpenz so far, we have hot made major jumps with this vehicle, but as you can see from the video it took everything quite well, and after the day it was still in great condition. We do recommend that if you do plan on jumping with the 1/5th, double check everything such as screws and gears.

are these fine to take off jumps? i bought a nitro rc car and only got 5 days worth of fun out of it if i buy another rc car im going 2 stroke since thats where my specialty of engine work is. i was looking at these and thought they looked very durable but looks can be deceiving are these really that great? are they going to break after a 1ft tall ramp?
