  • grear organ and playerb thanks

  • Excellent Playing as one who used to volunteer on the maintenance crew of the Wurlitzer at the Riviera Theatre in North Tonawanda New York, bith place of the Mighty Wurlitzer! Tell me, is Arnold Loxam still playing the tower organ?

  • @EHC45 Arnold Loxam sadly passed away last year.

  • My mum tried to sort it for me to play the organ on rising. I wasn't allowed near it for insurance reasons...

  • For a self-confessed 'non-organist', that was an excellent performance! Many thanks - most enjoyable! It's such a shame that some of the people who left comments have to be obscene; for goodness' sake, grow up and don't parade your filth in a public forum. You're a disgrace.

  • Wow, fantastic! What a great experience to play on such a wonderful organ!

Thanks David for this great share!!

    Roeleke

  • I like the music he is playing.

    ;)

  • @MrWurlitzerwanker Good game good game. I always remember you telling me you'd like to ride Brucie's chin whilst gargling Fred Dinah's steeple juice. Talking of queens, when are you going to upload the video of you furiously masturbating into your Cameron Carpenter box set of drag photos?

  • no matter how marvelous technology becomes Pipes will ALWAYS rule the roost awesome thanks for posting !

  • @MrWurlitzerwanker Really? I'm sure the Tower Ballroom is in Blackpool which is where? Ford Is an American company. Oh and it's spelt Dibnah! Lern how to spell.

  • @bigvis65 Don't get stressed with him dear, he has special needs. It was only last night he needed a gin soaked 70 year old prostitute named Malcolm, who needed to smell faintly of dog shit and stale tomatoes and had the ability to perform oral sex whilst still gritting his two remaining teeth. These things aren't easy to find on the back pages of organ-twiddler monthly!

  • I thought it was superb. how on earth did you get a chance to play this amazing organ, specially as you say you are not an orgnist, let me assure you that you are and a damn good one too. If only I could, oh boy but one dreams , I think you are just bloody awesome on this organ David.

  • @beachfrontal --Thank you for the fantastic share

David----bloody awesome for sure. !!!! ....Polly

  • @beachfrontal Hi my friend, that was really a WONDERFUL share! What a great joy to play on an organ like this, and with so much talent! Haha... he IS an organplayer!!! Oh yes! A great one! :-)

    Roeleke

  • @beachfrontal ,u can hire the tower wurlitzer for £200 or£250 with video my frend just give the tower a ring and ask about the organ experiance

  • This is awesome! You're such a professional!

  • Excellent playing. You really make that Wurlitzer sound like the threatre organ that it is. I always felt synthesizers are for people that can't play. I play a threatre organ at church. Beats the heck out of a straight church organ in my book. And for the record I a fat white hetrosexual.

    Ken in New Jesey USA

  • organ is for gay fat white people.

  • @crustylion123 And sitting on your fat ass all day's for losers like you.

  • @crustylion123 I agree. In fact it was only yesterday I was thinking to myself 'what we need is more 19 year old acne-riddled american youtube heroes to join the organ world and show us the error of our ways. Blacker the better.' I could make numerous jokes about fat americans being as most of you are on the rotund side, but I thought to myself 'Lighten up!', which is what half of you fuckers ought to do.

  • the tower when i last whent looked like it need restoring be a shame to let it caryon becaing

  • @screammac it is being restored. leisure parks let it go too much, but since the town council bought things over, things are starting to look very good

  • I love your Dixon-like style of playing!!

  • Well done- 'analog' music at its best- you can stick your synthesizers and samplers where the sun doesn't shine... have been a pipe organ fan for years, and always listened to 'The Organist Entertains' back in the UK.

    Bill in Germany

  • @wickedunclebill Analogue? Acoustic would be a more appropriate word, it is an acoustic instrument.

  • @wickedunclebill You can still listen to it, wherever you are, Nigel Ogden's program can be heard on the BBC iPlayer.

  • Very Good matey - im not usually a Wurlitzer fan, perferring Church style organs and music (being a church organist myself) but that is fab what I've just watched and heard!

  • I really enjoyed this - thank you!

  • If you are not an organist - then I'm not a pianist. :) Really - GREAT JOB! :) Have more confidence. :) We are all learning...

That's the great thing about being musician you NEVER stop learning or getting better :)

  • Is there anything more British than the mighty wurlizer at the Tower ballroom? If there is I don't want to know:) Great Job your a real pro:)

  • you know for someone who says you are not an organist I think you are great.. I agree with others on here.. From what I can tell, it takes real talent to be able to play a three rank keyboard.. You are wonderful. Keep up the work. You will do great. It takes time and Practice, practice. Don't give up. I am glad u can play a Wurlitzer. 10 stars for you.

    Laura from Michigan USA

  • I just don't understand why You think You're not an organist, are You playing a balalaika on this video?

  • Don't be so self defacing mate - I have heard lots of other musicians playing that wonderful instrument and in my opinion, you are Reg (the Master) reincarnate!

  • i think your brilliant -when do you take

    up your new post !!!

  • Great playing for someone who claims not to be an organist. I have heard people who claim to be organists that don't play 1/10th as well as you do! You handle the WurliTzer very well indeed.

    Don (USA)

  • SUPERB!

    THANK YOU!

  • Overdue - 'one huge round of applause'!!! Thanks for letting us see your performance; what do you play at home to learn the footwork? Great stuff!

  • You Call your self not an organist. im sorry But u are better then a bloody organist. U make my heart flow like the Water.Your Great. im a cathedral organist and belive me we would Hire u to play at Allen Theater organ In the nav

  • Great Job! Enjoyed it

  • Damn, you're good!

  • You are very good.

  • Very nice work, indeed!

  • Quote: "Again I'll emphasise to the critics out there I'm not an organist"

I think we'll have to agree to disagree there old chap; I think you make one hell of a good organist, and should they ever start looking for a new team member at the Tower, I suggest they give you a call! Outstanding.

Soooo... can you spill the beans and inform us mere wannabees what the fabulous Tower WurliTzer was like to play? Is it quick and responsive?

  • All that was missing was the applause at the end of your performance. You deserved it for a wonderful medley. Regards David

  • That was excellent - I myself am prob the same age as you and rarely get a chance to play a real theatre organ. I've considered the Blackpool organ experience, do you get a long time on the organ?

  • Surely an "organist" is anyone who has the ability to make music from these instruments and THAT you certainly have! I'd give a good deal to have the talent you obviously have in this respect. Well done and ENJOY your music!
