1) have the leader of one of the most powerful mercenary groups be unwaveringly determined to kill you as long as he lives

2) or save some factory workers that will probably have absolutely nothing to with the war against the reapers I mean you don't even save the factory to help keep production of whatever the heck they were making there up not looking good for option number two

Who else thinks Zaeed should use a thermal clip for something even more badass in ME3? Like blocking a sniper shot, perhaps? As in, he flicks the clip into the path of the shot, stopping the bullet.

This is the "Renegade" outcome. If you choose to save the refinery you'll be performing the "Paragon" action and Zaeed will not get to kill Vido.

He becomes loyal either way.
