  • Very Helpful & easy to do. I was struggling to find the tools for adjusting my new watch.

    Thank You.

  • thank you .... got a casio from walmart (i know, first mistake right?) but once i got home realized that is way too big but when i took it back, they didnt know how to get the links apart.

  • Thanks, it has been very helpful

  • Good work fella, I salute you from the UK!

  • Thankyou very much. Video helped with my new xmas present.

  • @sickboy123uk Same here. Thanks man !

  • Thanks you soo match :D

  • Thanks mate, this was a very helpful video.

  • Thanks man! :)

  • Brilliant, Thanks

  • Thanks for the vid. I tried this way before watching your demo but was'nt sure if i pushed too hard the strap would'nt just break. I had to push very hard with one of them (they will never come loose on their own) but got two links out job done. thanks again,

  • this video is the only one i have found where the person didnt use a (choice word) screw driver meant for this.

  • This was EXACTLY the video I was looking for. I removed the flat pin of the first link and kept the first link (that attaches to the folding buckling mechanism). I then completely removed the SECOND link. Then, I connected the third link with the first link and reinserted the flat pin. The band fits much better now. Thank you for the tutorial!

  • Thank you very much for your Great help, brilliant !

  • Thanks you!! I was driving me crazy trying to figure out how to do it. :)

  • I just checked, I was wrong, it is a 60 page manual on how to set the watch and not a word on adjusting the band. After watching your video, I took an old pair of needle nosed pliers and filed the tip of one jaw 1/8 inch shorter to sit on top of the band, and filed the tip of the other jaw to fit in the hole below the pin. One little squeeze and out came the pin. Thanks for showing me how it is done.

  • Thanks for your tutorial, I just remove one link from the band!

  • Thank you! I bought a new Waveceptor Casio on Amazon. I got a 20 page manual on how to set the watch and not even a hint how to adjust the band. I have been staring at the band for an hour a day for a week. Thank you. I went to Casio's web site, not a clue there either. If I knew where to mail the fifty cents. I'd do it.

  • Thanks for the info. We should all chip in 50¢ a piece from each one of us that you have saved money from either having to buy a replacement watch or tools by supplying this info. Then you'd probably be walking around with a Rolex or Michael Kors :p

  • Thanks Buddy. I just saved ten bucks with this information. It worked perfectly.

  • Thanks for posting this video. With this video I was able to size the band on my

Casio AE-2000WD watch. I used a sharp pointed mini pick from Harbor Freight

    that did the job well.

  • Thanks, perfect info... by the way I think these are called "folded link" watchbands.

  • Thanks, I saw another site that suggested a small screwdriver to shove the 'pin' out. The nail and hammer works much better to get the pin started out and then you can switch to a small screwdriver.

  • THANK YOU SO MUCH, OTHER LINKS HAVE HOLES ON SIDES, BUT NOT MY FREAKING CASIO WATCH.

  • incomplet...how do you put it back together?

  • thanks, exactly what I was looking for. Casio watches are different.

  • Thanks dude! Really appreciate it

  • thanks man

  • thank you; 30 buck i would spent without this video

  • thank u man !!

  • thank you very much.

    P.S.

its the tinkerers who dont just ask a question about how something works but dig deeper and discover how it works that make the world go round.

I salute you and please do me and the world a favor and keep tinkering

    Sincerely Paul

  • Thanks for this. yep it helped

  • Thank you for posting this video, really helpful. Saved me $8 bucks and a trip to my local Sears watch department!!
