hello guys. I have a question here. I want to buythat Canon SX110 IS. it looks great, it's compact and has a lot of features, great value for your money too but what I've been hearing is that whle recording video it's either makes squickysounds of zoomng or mutes the sound completely for the time of zooming. And some say it doesn't zoom in and out at all. Can anyone clarify me on that? Does it apply only to optical zoom or to the digital as well? please do a reply so I can get a notification. Tx

Hi,

It has 10x of optical zoom, and 4x digital zoom, you can combine them to get 40x total zoom. But, while you are filming you can't change the optical pre-defined zoom, but you can do it with digital zoom. So, if you want to record some video with zoom, set the optical zoom first, and then start recording, so you can change ONLY the digital zoom while filming.

¿Cuanto te duran las pilas?. El sonido lo graba en momoaural no?. Creo que al final me voy a comprar esa porque no puedo conseguir la Canon TX1. Parece que en Capital nadie la vende Gracias

Las pilas recargables cargadas full te pueden llegar a durar un día completo de excursión dependiendo del uso que le des (entre 200 y 400 fotos). Con respecto al sonido, sí, es mono.

La verdad es que estoy muy contento con esta cámara! Pero si el tamaño no te importa, por un poco más podés tener la Canon PowerShot SX10 IS, que tiene 10mp, 20x de zoom óptico, graba sonido estéreo, y podés hacer uso del zoom óptico mientras filmás ;)

Al final compre la Sony Cybershot T500. Como la maquina la usaria la familia no podia comprar algo muy sofisticado. Sacrifique prestaciones por algo compacto. Esta es lo mejor q encontre en ese segmento (fotos y filmacion HD...aunque influyo q la consegui a mitad de precio de un importador). Igual, te agradezco por la sugerencia pq mas adelante me voy a comprar para mi una camara mas profesional y voy a ver si aprendo algo de fotografia. Compare y busque tanto que al final me cope con el tema

Jeje, a mi me pasó lo mismo, después de averiguar por cámaras y empezar a sacar fotos me empezó a gustar la fotografía tambien!
