@BonhamRox He may be treated like and act like a little kid, but he's 43 yrs old. I think he knows he's suppose to stand in the back and shut up till spoken to. He knows he's there only as long as Neal and Jon want him there....and when Neal said..."We were met with a lot of resistance" and had that dumb ass grin on his face, Arnel smiled back like a good little puppet should.

Perry really put em out there...The more you listen to Journey, the more you appreciate his absolutely incredible one in a million voice. To me better than Mercury! Yet it seems alot has happened since the old days...and even though he put em out there, they weren't gonna stay out without him. None of the other singers got to about 95% of Perry's voice that Pineda is capable of. It was a good decision to have him do vocals. And let's be honest. Perry laughs knowing Pineda copies him ^^

@eljay345 You know it doesn't matter when this interview was.They still should of respected what Steve Perry brought to the band. If they couldn't say anything nice about him, then they just should of keep their mouths shut.

I bet for Neal Schon especially that would be an impossibility though since he loves to verbally ridicule and degrade Steve Perry any chance he can gets.

I forgot to mention before in that radio interview Jonathan Cain was not as complimentary about Mr Schon at one point as he was about Steve Perry.

There was a radio interview onllne last year of Madison Cain.According to what she said in that interview she is a fan of Steve Perry. Her father Jonathan Cain was interviewed also and he gave Steve Perry a lot of credit for the band's success. Listening to Jonathan Cain's comment about Steve Perry in this video it seems Neal Schon has gotten him around to his way thinking now.

If Steve Perry had not joined Journey when he did there would not even be a band by 'that name' in 2011.

Journey gave an interview this year from the Sweden Rock Festival. Jonathan and Neil said in that interview that Steve Perry would not come there to perform. This must have gotten back to Steve Perry because Steve does not want any members of Journey to mention his name or talk about him. Steve Perry must have told his lawyer to tell Neil's lawyer to inform the group to not mention his name again. I have heard this is the way they communicate and Steve has told them this before. PETTY!!
