Lol i had this gun for like 3yrs lol i used a 9.6 battery on this for CQB and it worked out pertty good with a high ROF about 20BPM but a average fps of 300 with .20

Crosman as a brand isnt all that hot, but the R76 seems pretty solid I bought a used one from a friend, he had it for a year, I ran it as a loner for friends for about 9months recently sold to another friend its still running solid and shoots perfect for CQB or medium range field situations to this day

wow.....thats a bad gun. and wats the point of putting a new spring in if its the same fps? and anyone can get a new battery.... if u wanted to max out that gun, id start with a new gearbox, reinforced metal. new bushings, a polycarb piston with helical metal teeth, reinforced helical gears, a new piston head, a new cylinder and air nozzle, a high torque motor, a lipo battery, a holo sight, and a 6.01 mm barrel. then that gun would be maxed out.

my ak shoots 25 rps asec and shooting at 400 fps. I might be the only one or not. Smaller cqb guns used do lower fps due to the barrel length being so short and usally have a higher rate of fire because a full cyclinder is not needed.

the rate of fire is the same as the stock so you probably did not change the motor try putting a turbo motor in to the gun and it will shoot faster but don't change the spring unless you have to.

the stock rate of fire on mine is about 15 bb's per second. although mine is a newer crosman version of the r76 with a full stock on it. and mine shoots at about 370 .2 gram bbs.

the G36c is a real gun that Germany uses and is compared to the M4 which is a more compact version for CQB

well crosman guns are sold in kmart and walmarts, and ofcourse little kids get them and DO NOT take care of them. thats why they break. i take care of my R72, its been through 30,000 .12's (which are bad for it) and about 10,000 .2's and it still works like brand new. have had it for 2 years. my airmag c11, great co2 pistol. about 8,000 .2's put through that. still amazing.
