This isn't indie, this isn't folk, this isn't awesome, or epic. All she does is take a guitar riff and adds lyrics with no real care to how they compliment or contrast to each other. I'm not saying you can't have simplistic music with complex lyrics, for an example of that check out Willy Mason. However I am saying that she does it so recklessly that I can't believe she actually cares about what she's saying. This song could be much better.
I like it personally, but can understand why some people with more conservative musical tastes wouldnt care for it. Very different, and the simplicity of the music is a real contrast with the surreal lyrical content.
