I think Bethesda only failed at Bloody Mess perk in FO3. I havent played FO1 and FO2 complately, but as I seen in those games Bloody Mess is so-friggin-awesome. In FO3 its just blasts people away, kinda lame. In one of the earlier games (forgot which) killed someone, he spit into half (from shoulder to hip) and half of his body crawled a bit. Now thats bloody!

Ron Pearlman's voice in this one is the best from all the games. Thats why Fallout 2 rules. Fallout 3 had not enough soul for that big world they created

bethesda can create a new Fallout with the most amazing graphics, but it will never have the "soul" from Fallout 1 and 2. Those game are just part of the video games world history
