a shortcut would be to leave the audio as is, and instead, just type up some subtitles, assuming u can make out every word urself. either way works, all we want is to understand what hes saying.

@UnluckyGambler im going to try to process the audio with compression which should bump it up, but these are from very old cassette tapes, they fall apart or the tape breaks a lot when I am working with them. it is kind of a race against time to get them all digitized...the tapes are nearly 40 year old some of them, amazing they work at all

It took me awhile to understand what he was talking about, but then I got it after going back a few times. It's kinda hard to picture it because I've been taught that a world like this is too good to be true.

It all makes sense though because it would be a system that does not leave anyone willing to participate behind.
