Size is also a problem Im almost 6'7" and cannot fit into many cars much less drive them comfortably to and from work!! I almost got a used 08 Z06 before my new 5.0 but it just didn't have as much room still wouldn't mind it for a weekend driver though. But Ideally if I was to compete I would go with the 427 Shelby Cobra and get the lengthened version here in Vegas there's a place that will make them to your specs for a price$ I go to a car show here with 3 1600lb carbon fiber ones all with 427s

@yorick20 weight plays a factor in it is what im saying not that u need alot of it and the e30 is not the only other good non jap car to drift in i used to drift in an e36. 1993 Mustang fox bodys make excellent drift cars there basically an AE86 on steroids. 1990 to 2000 camaros make for good drift and so do the 2005 til 2010 mustang gt

@BoyGotBlazed420 although you do kinda have a point, theres still a difference between powersliding and drifting. awd cars can't maintain a drift like a rwd car can. the awd car will eventually straighten out even with counter-steer involved due to the power being at both the front a rear wheels. drifting imo involves throttle input and steering response, not going as fast as you can into a corner-ripping the ebrake-then hammering the gas(ken block)

@yorick20 weight plays a factor in it is what im saying not that u need alot of it and the e30 is not the only other good non jap car to drift in i used to drift in an e36. 1993 Mustang fox bodys make excellent drift cars there basically an AE86 on steroids. 1990 to 2000 camaros make for good drift and so do the 2005 til 2010 mustang gt

@BoyGotBlazed420 although you do kinda have a point, theres still a difference between powersliding and drifting. awd cars can't maintain a drift like a rwd car can. the awd car will eventually straighten out even with counter-steer involved due to the power being at both the front a rear wheels. drifting imo involves throttle input and steering response, not going as fast as you can into a corner-ripping the ebrake-then hammering the gas(ken block)
