Not at all, I have been clocked at over 80mph on a pair of ski's through a timing gate on a piste in St.Anton so would be a hypocrite to say don't have fun going fast. I am just pointing out there are many whom go too fast for their skill , experience and abilities in the wrong places such as packed pistes , near ski lifts ( where people are waiting standing still ) and when ski school groups are about etc.Just have fun and be safe. Merry Xmas
i was in les arcs 2000 in jan 2008 so must have just missed you guys anyway great vid (since when did youtube turn into a bitch fest?) narrietoo dont be a prick blue run red run double diamond black whatever it was a great vid and they looked save enough to me !
All I will say to the negative comments is (and about skiing/boardong as a whole) that any idiot can go fast, going fast under control and wihin your limits ,while regarding the safety of others is the only consideration you should have......apart from the main one which is to have fun, iv'e spent enough time in the alps ( I have a place in BsM ) have seen the results of too much out of control speed to last a lifetime.....be safe and have fun.
@21jg130 Soo you're saying that we can't enjoy going as fast as possible? Sorry but that's part of snowboarding, just gotta watch out. I'm not gonne watch my speed, but I will watch out for others.
Thanks for the support jebadier. I find it very interesting that our little friend Narrietoo makes the 'tough guys' comment... please check out his Tignes 2007 Jan video if you want a laugh.
So tough Narrietoo... so tough... Although I would agree that it gets pretty extreme at 1:32... wow she's really pulling some G's. No wonder you're getting such huge video views (10 at point of writing)!
What? They should be embarassed to be beginners? Everyone was a beginner once. What's your problem? Or are you just trying to show how great you think you are?
The slope from 1:14 - 2:00 is a great piste, I loved skiing on that one, I seem to remember the lift at the end being terrible though... or having to walk to it? something like that... ends up near a husky pen. Am i right? (its been a few years, hoping to go again in January)

Not embarassed. But catious.
I don't have a problem. My friend does because of a loose canon without control skied him into the hospital !!!!!
So when the slopes are empty no problem. Fun is the only thing that matters!
