  • Does anybody have the Steve Allen Show appearance ?

  • DAMN!!! listen ta that FUZZ, will ya! sounds even more fuzzed out than the original line up, if thats conceivable.

  • Dickie was the coolest!

  • Blue Cheer or Zep easily Cheer for me Zep are fucking boring. And Dickie was so much nicer and cooler then anyone In Led Zep.

  • it sounds like jimi hendrix was heavily influenced by them

  • I did shoot the whole show! I might have missed maybe 2 minutes or so from changing videotapes. For some reason, this upload didn't turn out in higher quality even tho I chose that option. Ugh.

  • I miss my friend.......this looks like it was a great place to see them! Did you shoot the whole show?

  • This is it!!! Amazing. These guys could be better than Zep

  • @pikiwiki .....but album sales and concert shows may have dictatated otherwise !!! JUst a thought !! Good band though. xx

  • @lovelyflares yah. zep has far better imagination from non blues based influences. these guys essentially ARE the blues- they lived it.

  • @pikiwiki Blue Cheer Jump Blues meaning no sad moaning or Groaning Happy party have fun Blues as said By Dickie Himself, He also said We are Blue Cheer This is what we do and we Play Blues Metal,

  • @lovelyflares

bieber, bruno mars, lady gaga, they all suck but they sell alot of albums. Cookie cutter pop bullshit.

  • wonder why i haven't heard of this band before, really cool stuff, especially considering that Vincebus Eruptum was released in '68...

i can only recommend the book "1001 albums you must hear before you die" which got me into a number of great bands including blue cheer

  • Got to see Blue Cheer on this tour and that will remain one of the most thrilling concert moments of my life. I can not comprehend rocking out even close to that bad ass in my mid sixties. BC were true heavy metal visionaries that heavily influenced Black Sabbath, Led Zeppelin and most serious metal bands ever since.

RIP Dickie. You damn well earned it.

  • There would be no Doom/Stoner Metal - Kyuss, Electric Wizard, Sleep, Earth, etc., without Blue Cheer. Miss You Dickie! The Loudest, most FUZZED OUT band on Earth!!!

  • You are right borther ! This man knows music folks ! Cheers !

  • damn BC kicked ass i miss them already

  • The HEAVIEST ' & most powerful Band to Emerge from the late 60's No doubt about it!

  • blue cheer wujuuu

  • holy fck - this is just tremendous !

to my shame tonigh tis th e!st night im acxtually checkg out BLue Cheer on you Tube and fck are they good . serious competition to Sabbath for originators of metal after all.....

  • They used to have so many amps that Leigh went deaf. They used to stuff TP in their ears but that was not enough to stop 25,000 watts!

  • One of the best short drum solos i have heard rock on Paul your the best.

  • cool

  • they have a great place at myspace..

    they will always kick ass

  • this song blew my fucking mind when i was 13 in 1968

  • True, it is not the same group without Leigh. However, Duck is probably the only guitarist who captures the true Psychedelic vibe of 67 better than anyone. That you have to admit. Great sound and feel. Unfortunately even if Leigh was to join today, he has esentially lost it. THIS REALLY IS THE BEST LINEUP WE HAVE TO THE ORIGINAL INCARNATION!!!

  • The Band is not the same without Leigh.

  • Very heavy tune. That strat has a good heavy sound to it.

  • It sounds like generic 70s heavy metal, which is really too bad. the original was much better.

  • you mean generic 70's metal sounds like this!!!! Not the same thing

  • Amen to what MattHatter said. Duck plays in the Blue Cheer style without imitating Leigh. They get better all the time , because they TOUR like they're in their 20's. This is the best recent clip I've seen.

  • Cool...nice hook.

  • Sounding good! They used to rock during the '60s....now they rock IN their 60s! Peterson and Whaley still kicking it.

  • Andrew 'Duck' Mac Donald on guitar. And that is definitely Paul!

  • Who's on guitar...is that Leigh? That's obviously Paul back there on drums.

  • none of their recent stuff is leigh. he WAS blue cheer in my opinion.

  • What about Randy Holden and Dieter?
