It's a shame they sorta treat him like comic relief in "Dissidia," like his defining characteristic is that he occasionally references musical structures. He's meant to be a super-introverted, pitiless bastard - as a result, his eventual breakdown is all the more powerful. I dunno, it all sorta went downhill when they started getting voice actors in.
I love the original, but I'm a major techno geek and I love most remixes. This one is rather nice. It's like dance music, but the piano notes inside draw you in and make your soul dance along. (Sorry, I'm really serious about how music makes me feel.)
I like this remix. It doesn't sound like the orginal, which I think is the intent, it has some qualities that are similar, but it's definiately not. I think that more creative liberties should have been taken, but it's not horrible as everyone here suggests. Just because the original sounds a certain way doesn't mean a cover or remix has to sound exactly the same, or have the same feeling.
In my opinion both Kuja and Sephiroth are to say the least absolute lunatics, but I would have to say that Kuja is waaay crazier, and before anyone says that "oh well Sephiroth destroyed the whole solar system" well that was an attack, that didn't REALLY happen, Kuja actually destroyed a whole plant by himself, does anyone agree?

I'd say they were both as crazy as each other, both of them had revelations of their true origins revealed to them, both of them went insane from hearing said past, both were genetically created beings.
Both had a reason for being angry at the universe si I'd say they are both the same, Kuja did indeed destroy Terra by himself but Sephiroth was very close to destroying Earth with Meteor and he had every intention of doing it.
this sounds more like a club music you can even see the light on the video flash lol, i like the original better has more of a emotional feeling on everyone who has play this awesome game, good movie tho.
He's also one of the most vicious villians in the entire series to his credit. Sephiroth has nothing on Kujia for sheer, no-holds barred sadism and selfishness.

Personally I like this song BECAUSE of the way it sounds different and sounds happy and like party music. Its a good to hear a twist. Its unique because of it.

ff7 and 9 had an awsome opening scenes that got your attention and drew you in. compare the way 7 and 9 start to a garbage game like ff12. Its just great wrinting that made the game, and now its kind of hard to find something that matches up to that.
@BriDirt God you're so awesome just by stating this :D 9 is my favorite FF (first I played was 4 for a bit at a friends, then 6, then finally got my own FF when 7 came out). 7 and 6 tied for second place, 4 after that.
8, 12, and X-2 are garbage. But, while 8 and 12 had fail characters, story, and gameplay (I will admit they had interesting ideas, poorly executed), X-2 at least had fun gameplay. But that's really all it had.
@BriDirt I would go even further back and check out the story in FF6. That's a masterpiece if there ever was one. Deeper character development spanning over such a wide character selection is hard, if not impossible, to find these days.

It doesn't confuse people, it just gets people interested more and ask questions like "wow, whats that about?" and "what's going on because I really want to see this now!" i can't accept a story being good when u have a situation where they send in a moron, and a school teacher led by a ditzy morn into a military base targeting an mercenary academy with missiles.
Even worse was the fact that they were able to stop the air strike by PRESSING RANDOM BUTTONS on a computer.

No, in the Japanese Final Fantasy, Kuja is a girl. They kept the same character for the English version obviously, but made him a boy (They didn't change how he/she physically appeared)

Kuja's appearance was actually molded after a male Japanese singer. I can't remember his name, though. So he probably was male in the Japanese version as well. Besides, even though he was extremely effeminate, his mannerisms and personality seemed very much male, such as his quickness to anger and the way he dealt with his superiority/inferiority/mortality complex.

Are you joking? Kuja's always referred to as a "he." By everyone, including Garland.
He is effeminate, (to the point where THE CHARACTERS joke about it once or twice) but is treated as a male in all games where he appears, even in Dissidia, he's given a higher, but definitely male, voice.

No, in the Japanese Final Fantasy, Kuja is a girl. They kept the same character for the English version obviously, but made him a boy (They didn't change how he/she physically appeared)
