  • Just couldn't pass up the commenting on the video quality. Looks like you got some pr0-like filming microwave/calculator/frying pan sort of appliance. Apart from that, sounds good.

  • did you record this with a calculator?

  • what did you record this with a microwave?

  • is this in 140p?

  • which model strat is that?

  • @NICKWAPPERER117

  • This was recoreded with asparagus

  • amazing cover man

  • pretty nice cover man. great chops. & i have the same amp as you. for a more hendrix-y tone, i'd recommend using the effects channel without the tremelo on. then turn the master gain all the way up and the gain in the effects part to 1 or 2. it's a nice fuzzy tone. you can make it louder if you want, but it gets quite loud, being 120W. for the eq, turn bass to about 7, mid to around 6, and treble to around 6 1/2. pretty good blues rock tone. and a better camera would improve sound quality :P

  • check my version

    watch?v=DaBk3HCaZsg

  • like in quake

  • damn, is that 1080p?

  • so... you recorded this with a 1995 cell phone?

  • that's what you call high definition

  • good but the video is so fuzzy =|

  • omg haha, your in 8-bit xD

    but nice cover man

  • nice dude.

personally i think it would sound better with a smoother smoother tone.

but that fuzz is probably coming from the crappy camera.

    otherwise good job!

  • That was good man, I'm sure you'll sound better with a tube amp.

  • someone just dumped on an original !

  • nice man!!

  • I wish you mama sucked 25 years ago...

  • dude you realy have the jimmi hendrix sound wish i could do whatyou do

  • Thanks!!

  • great chops, very nice..the vid quality is shit.. what strat are you playing.. it looks like it has a floyd rose on it. Please advise

  • The guitar was made by Fender/Japan in the mid 80s. It takes a Kahler Floyd Rose tremolo as standard build-in. I don´t use the tremolo, but the tuning is comfortable and mostly stable. Thanks!

  • is he explicit err sumthing lol why is he blurred out?

  • har har har.

  • MY AMP !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! :p:p:p!!!!!!!!!!!

  • I actually think this is quite good... still the camera is relly bad, and he skipped the main riff. I gave it 5 stars.

  • epic video quality!

  • Great cover m!!!!an

  • perfect execution

  • dude that was pretty good and a really nice guitar you have

  • obviously you do cuz it is in your info thing...

  • so i love the jimi hendrix version and in fact i am wearing a jimi shirt right now...but i was wondering after seeing all these all along the watchtowers...do people relize bob dylan wrote this song.?

  • Most of the time they don't. They like Hendrix's arrangement better, so they forget that Bob Dylan was the real mastermind behind this song.

  • What type of fender is that ? standard strat ? Just wanna know cuz i might buy one soon

  • The serial number is E+6 digits. I think, it was Made in Japan between 1984 and 87, with Kahler Floyd Rose. There are no further specifications.

  • @PK441041 hey it might actually be an American made Squire...made for less than a year from 1989 to 1990...The Exxxxxxx stands for Eighties and the 1990 models have an Nxxxxxxx. The went back to Mexico mid 1990. The earlier japanese squires have a JVxxxxxx.

  • @johno1965pj

  • Yeah cool!!

  • holy shit dude what effects and amp are you using. is it a marshall or a vox

  • It´s a Peavey Deuce, Boss DS-1, and a bad camera.

  • AWESOME! Could u send me the tabs, o white hendrix?

  • Sorry, I don´t use tabs. Thanks!

  • Great playing- the poor picture quality don't bover me.

  • pretty good...

just get a higher quality camera

  • wow kid check out a real cover for this song but goood job i give it 4 stars

  • great work! :)

But take care about pixels amnd sound quality.

  • the drive was a bit 2 much but real good

  • dude use less drive,damn!

  • not the best timing, but damn good either way

  • If it was better quality I bet it would sound good

  • Fender Stratocaster, early 80s, MIJ, Kahler Floyd Rose, second hand, from NYC.

  • oh yea nice

  • Hast dich aber sehr gut gehalten für 52 :)

Gut gespielt, technisch ok aber zuviel distortion und im grundrhytmus fehlt etwas der drive.aber was rede ich, alles peanuts, war klasse!

  • Danke Dir. Das Alter sieht man da nicht so, dafür fehlt´s halt manchmal an "drive";)- aber in diesem Fall wohl eher Absicht.

  • niiiice guitar.

  • meistens improvisiert?

  • yes, mostly ad-lib- extemporaneous- extempore- impromptu- improvisational- unscripted- vamped... such Dir eines aus;)

  • this sounds like theres an orgy in my ear, and everybody is climaxing. you rawk at guitar my friend.

  • I don´t know what "rawk" means (couln´t find it in a dictionary), but I take your comment as a compliment.

  • He meant ROCK!!

  • sehr gut gespielt und super sound!mein respekt!

  • na endlich mal ein Kommentar auf deutsch- das freut mich ja! Danke dir!

  • It`s cool dude...

ill like to see some more of you

  • Thanks for your interest!

  • sounded good. kinda looked like i was watching some cop show with the pixelation of your camera.

  • not bad at all man keep it up

  • how long ya been playing?

    you're effin good

  • is that a floyd rose bridge?

  • Kahler!

  • to fast

  • Oh fuck off! It was great! Why do people feel the need to write rubbish veiled attacks? Is it just jelousy? If you can't say anything constructive then keep it shut, gobshite!

  • i have a strat but i wnat a pearl one do you have and artic colered one

  • Fender Japan ´80s, no USA Hendrix CBS.- Look at eBay!

  • i want your guitar man

  • fender bender

  • Make money with that style.

We need more good music in the charts.

  • Hey, thanks!!

Do you want to try to specify, what you mean with "that style"? Maybe it would help;)

  • I think he means the wonderful slurred Jimi style. Unfortunately someone has already made it famous but I am sure you can make money with what you do anyway. In fact, I am pretty sure you already make money in music.

  • anyway, this is the link. bythe way, nice ideas that u have there

  • i like the beginning. but if i would have started to listen from the niddle ofe the song, i wouldnt have knwon, what song you are playing.

  • It is only an improvisation! An one-man-show, without backing. I don´t want to play it note by note.- You need some imagination.

  • So in other words, you think he should have copied the song completely instead of his improv and adding his own personality to the tune? Yeah, very imaginative!

  • check out our along the watchtower.ive been playin the bass for 2 months

  • Nice bass,- I wish I got one ;)

  • Nice and Fast

  • Very good!!!

  • Vielen Dank!

  • Good Job ;)

  • Merci !

  • Cool man!!

  • Thanks!

  • This is good, however, maybe you should you use a little less distortion, it get's pretty muddy in places, try rolling of the volume when your playing the rythym sections and put more of yourself into the solo's .. Hendrix never played the same solo twice..:)

  • Thank you, for your constructive review! I agree in all points.- It is not necessary (and possible), to play Hendrix note by note. I allways _try_ to catch a bit of that special feeling. This is more important for me.

  • Maybe a Big Muff Electro-Harmonix pedal would help to smoothen the sound on the solos

  • Maybe,- I´ll try it. I used a Boss DS-1.

  • Erm. I think he knows what he is doing mate.

  • Thats amazing keep it up :)

  • I like it, I´ll keep it!

  • sounds like a car crash.

  • Sorry, that wasn´t my intension. But thanks, for taking trouble to write a comment!

(For me, it sounds harmless and smooth ;-))

  • It sounds really good mate! And I am pretty sure you know that and don't need me or anyone to tell you. I can't figure out these idiots who attack, I can only presume they are poor to average guitarists who want this "community" to think they can do better.
