Might be me over-reacting, but can you actually do a barrel-roll on this, or even a loop? I mean, it seems that when you pull the stick it’s limited, like the game brings you to neutral position when you release it, well it might be fun, but it's way too arcade-ish if it won't let you fly your aircraft in all 3 dimensions realistically and freely =/ I loved the other Ace Combats gameplay, I just hope they don't ruin it! I never really felt it in needed to be changed!

@outbreaker2008 you can adjust the settings where one allows free movement, which is more for experienced players,or you can lock the controls to only allow turns which is more for people who are new.

I'm going to miss the old games. The simplicity behind it was what made the game good mixed in with the stories of (made up) countries invading and using super weapons and elite squadrons to build and support the campaign mode. They will be following the same type of storyline but it will involve actual countries which is new and apparently they wanted to homogenize themselves with every other war game and involve real countries with some bullshit story.

@kirovxq lol, realistic flight would suck. You would have to manually refuel after a certain time in the air. You would have to save all your missiles. You would get about 10 missiles to kill 20 planes....FUN!!!

What some people from Call of Duty want is for the graphics to look realistic. Not for the game to operate realistically (such as what Mrxander93 mentioned before: save your missiles, refuel, etc).

Glad there's a cockpit view, but we better be able to use the full controls from it unlike that crapsack HAWX. If they want to make a compelling multiplayer game a server option to force cockpit view is a must. It would be a near-guaranteed sale for air combat fans as that genre is so barren these days. I really hope this footage was taken from an easier difficulty setting or with assists on. The auto-righting controls are right for Starfox, but I want something more flight sim. GFX are good :)
