ok on the soldier level im sure there was a bit where there was like some stuff that looked like jelly or custard or something, that rised? anyone remember? and you kind of had to race it? either it rised or it sort of went along and chased you...cant remember...

You know, if you want to beat the giant without dying, the best way to do that is to get close to him and bait him into walking over to you. Only do the attack bounce off his head when you see him grimace and not a moment before. He's actually a pretty easy boss if you follow that advice.
