@redmule02 2 knives well a sog seal pup and a gerber multitool. and a good kevlar military helmet and kevlar vest you gotta protect your head and chest and a good cigar for when you wipe some ass you can sit back smoke a stoggy
@redmule02 o and for a pepper spray i would go with a good wasp or hornet spray very effective you can just wipe it off and keep fighting nope and its got a good 20 25 foot spray radius and look at all the extra spray in the can and its cheaper then pepper spray and oc foam
colt delta elite, m14,mosberg 500costom, m100assult vest,m12 pressure bomb and a tc knife would do we for a wile, its a shame you canot get moste of this stuff in england
It must be nice to have that kind of money to buy things with. I would use my mossberg 500 and a 9mm handgun. A 5.11 taclite pro vest (because its hot in FL) 5.11 taclite pro pants for gear storage and a 56 round shotshell bandolier.
Whether you're trying to pick a weapon from your arsenal or your trying to choose your first firearm to buy, the leading factor in your decision process should be, "what tactics will you employ?" Are you alone or in a group? What's the mission? What's the risk?
Gray man? Concealable pistol. Guerrilla Sniper? Long gun. Convoy? Semi-auto long guns or shotguns...or both. Defense? Shotgun, pistol, traps, etc...
If we don't keep our tactics in mind, we will make bad decisions...
USAS 12 ;) fast rounds out nice mag and pretty short, then an FAL combine it with a scope and you can go long and short range, a silenced pistol ( you may need to be stealthy)

Your gladius is one of the most devastating weapons the world has ever seen, true. But not alone.
@g8trdone Gladius is a short trusting sword indeed, this is why it was effectif it would be even now cause it isn't to cumbersom like a bastard sword... and i can hack and slash like a machete
Browning Hi Power 9mm, or in 40, Mossberg 500, Mini 14, Kabar or BK 7 a machete. Vest only have a cheap one for camping but would work in pinch. Unfortunely in Canada most of the options you have I don't. Not sure about the 556 pistol though a little hard to control and it might be better to go with the 10mm. Wish I could get a Saiga though. @weaponseducation for the hypothetical situation we are talking about A vest like the one I mentioned would be perfect! You'll be able to carry magazines on your person with quick access and they're very practical! Also if you just go shooting in the woods it would be good just to train with the vest on to get acclimated to the unique system! Just google "tacforce crossdraw vest" and the top link is a very high quality vest for a reasonable cost! Hope this helps! :)
In reference to the Springfield rifle shown in your "Lawless Society" video, could you send me a list of the aftermarket parts that were installed on it? That is exactly the rifle that I'm looking for except in all black. Thanks!
South Florida? Sounds like New York but that's ok. NATO rounds 5.56 .,45acp or 9mm. If you don't have any firearm training or don't practice it does not matter how many weapons you have. Stick with what you shoot best and are most comfortable with.

I just realized I'm already set! all I need now is a badass can of bear mace just for overkills sake, more ammo, more magazines, and perhaps a speed loader, but my set up is my S&W M&P magpul AR15 (on my channel), mossberg 500 pump, Kabar military spec knife, and my one piece blade steel katana, bring it on apocalypse scenario of choice... and keep up the videos buddy that sega shotgun is soo badass! Also I wanna thank you for showing me the 10 mm colt which I plan to pick up asap!
This is why everybody should buy lots of ammo, water storage lots of MRE's and a good recon of the area, the 3 weapons that I have would do the job for me.
Ruger 10/22 great rifle and I have over 10,000 rounds easy to shoot can get anybody up to 200 yards.
Glock 23 my back up weapon I have plenty of rounds but not as many as the 22 LR
Mossberg 500 close quarters devastating power.
If you look at your local newspaper all newspapers have a crime rate information based on the area you live.
There is a lawless society in liberia right now and the people that have power are the people with GUNS. Most of all make sure you have water and lots of it. I'm talking about more water than guns, ammo, knives, vests, or anything that you have. Water is the main thing you need.
id definately choose pepper spray because the more you can conserve ammo the better in a lawless society ammo is gonna be hard to find..pepper spray for the douche bags that just want to harass you ammo for the idiots that want to rob u with a gun.
Great choice with the M1A in a Troy MCS. I don't think that Bushnell is going to hold up very long under the recoil of that rifle. I wouldn't want to have to depend on that glass.
I'm a big fan of Saiga shotguns and rifles. I have both the .308 and the 12 gauge. But you need to convert yours!!..Lol it's a fun project and VERY easy! It will greatly improve the handling of the firearm. Just mho
you should do one with the weapons what us in the UK can get for example.... carrots,, knifes,, shitty replica pistols that are converted and some weapons that only the army have ...possibly any household objects TV/radio/shoes/nail guns/drills/box of nails/tooth brushes/Tooth paste ( i hate the UK LAWS) if this happened we would need people in the US to come and sell some guns to families to protect our self /just saying :S
omg i would love to own the springfield M1A but here in belgium there are strict rules on guns , and you can only buy handguns when you did a practical exam to get a license and you cant buy special ammo , no hollow point and so on ....
my dream is to schoot a Barrett .50 cal M82 Sniper
Mossberg 590 shotgun for power, reliability, and versatility with ammo. Glock 19/17 for availabilty of parts, ammo, and reliabilty. Ruger 10/22 or S&W M&P15-22 because you can do about 90% of all survival shooting with a 22lr. Although I think having a nice readily available rifle round like 7.62x39 or 5.56x45 would be tough not to include.
Calibers must be common ones, so ammo is easy to find. A long range rifle only if you have a strong point to defend, need only as much range as your field of fire will present. How many need to take out bad guys past 300 yards? So, AR in 5.56, with 2 top ends. One, a light 16" barrel for the field, with a red dot and BUIS. Plus a long bull barrel upper for sniping, with 4-14 variable scope. A G19 9mm for a sidearm. 17+1 rounds, reload w/ 33 rd mags. Mossberg 590 12G 8 shot.
pepper spray is good to get away from a group if needed. consider a small fogger instead of a stream type. be mindful of wind direction....might get yourself too!!
desert eagle? too heavy and is your buddy going to have ammo to share? go with .40 0r .45 for a primary, and a small 9mm for a holdout as far as pistols go.
any high capacity rifle. i prefer an ar with a red dot and flip up iron sights. iron does not run out of batteries. also i love the 1911 and a small high capacity hold out pistol along with a good fighting knife. whatever you are proficient with is what you should have, or train on what you have. a lesser weapon is more effective in the hands of someone trained in it's use. mostly keep it light so you can be mobile.
Personally, I feel pretty good with my Arsenal AK 47 and Rock River AR 15, accompanied with my Glock 23. All great guns, but I believe training is just as valuable as the firearm.
"Hi my name is Tammy and im only with this despicable, annoying, spoiled, rotten, narcissist, mother fucker, because he has lots of money" "what way would you like me to move the camera dear?"
@greenmarcosu Oh, and for the vest: Pinnacle Armor Dragonskin body armor with a camel back, mag pouches, IFAK, serpa holster for glock, shealth for bayonet etc.
I would go with my Stoeger over under 12 GA because it is really easy to clean, its powerful , I can shoot birdshot, buckshot, and slugs out of it, i have 2 rounds i can shoot right away, and i can reload that thing fast when i have my 50 round bandolier on me. I would also have my ruger mark 3 .22 LR, my Gerber gator junior machete, and one of my cheap pocket knives. (probably a gerber paraframe) I think i'm set.
I would go with my Kukri, Smith & Wesson 1911 (in .45ACP), Remington 870 (12 Gauge) and my Browning BLR (in 30/06). I'd also throw in one of my pocket knives (probably one of my Spyderco's).
here in aus where limited to what we can own so id use a accuracy international aw in 338 lap mag! and my glock 17a in 9mm and my remington 7615 with 30 around ar mags and id have a cold steel espada!
My primary would be an HK 416 with a 4x Trijicon ACOG, my secondary would be a Sig P226 .40 cal. Then for a blade, I'd choose a good ol' fashioned hatchet. Nothing glamorous, but enough to get the job done.
i personaly thinking about say an invading force or ocuppying force i live in canada and i would choose a .22 bolt action to be specific maby a savage mark 2 for the simple reason that i can carry iteraly thousands of rounds and with the proper positioning in a quirila warfare situation witych it would be in the area im in a target within say 200yrds a neck or head shot is instant incapasitation and his buddys would only hear muffled shot
Since 5.56mm and 9mm are the most popular rounds in rifles and pistols I'd go with AR-15 and Glock 19. They use very popular magazines and you shouldn't have a problem finding them laying around especially in zombie environments. Consistency with your environment is your number 1 asset in a SHTF situation.
Okay the theoretical top three for the SHTF moment, money being no object, are; the FN SCAR 17S, a Glock 19 with G18 magazines, and a SOG Agency knife.
AR 15 for all around use. for sidearm glock 20, esee Junglas on my side. CS XL voyager for a folder. Ive EDC'd my XL espada for a while but with a pistol and a fixed blade on my side an XL espada is too much. For where I live an AR is enough for long range engagements on the roof.
Might just be my opinion, but I'm willing to settle with a smaller caliber (to an extent) because it means a lighter round (so therefore more) and a lighter weapon (most of the time). I'd probably go with an AR-15 with some simple stuff like BUIS, a light, a foregrip, and maybe an eotech, along with a Glock 17, and a Cold steel AK-47. Can't do too much better than that, in my opinion.
Interesting video. My rifle choice would by my Scar 17s. Arguably the finest .308 made. My handgun would be my Smith M&P in .40 I like my Ed Brown Kobra Carry more, but it doesn't have the mag capacity for your scenario. The fixed blade would be anything made by Busse using their propietary INFI steel. Almost indestructible. My folder would be my Yuna Zombie Slayer custom from a small shop in Thailand. It cuts leather as if it were paper.
Since I dont have much right now, it would have to be everything. My scar 17 (with aimpoint and magnifier, or 1x4 scope), and xd45. Knife would be esee4 on my leg at all times, and esee izula or 3. multi tool leather man surge. Ive been meaning to get some pepper spray. Of course olight m20s.
Soon ill have a beretta96a1 and 2 ar stripped lowers. Iam surprised you didnt mention flash lights!
Rock River Arms Elite Operator with an Eotech and a 3x magnifier, Kel-Tec KSG, Glock 17 with the 34 round mags. For knives I would use my SOG Aegis and for a fixed blade it would be the Benchmade Nimravus.
for me I would want something that would be reliable even if I couldn't clean it or extended periods of time and be able to fulfill a variety of purposes. In a survival situation a pump action shotgun provides you with the ability to hunt everything from birds to bears and use as a self defense arm.
Arsenal ak for primary. Mossberg pistol grip as secondary. Glock 10mm for pistol. Espoda for folding knife. My cold Steel bowie as my fixed blade and a 5.11 tactical vest with Molly attachments is what my system would look like
Great collection Tom---- I would rely on any of those weapons brother! I really like the Sig Sauer 5.56 rifle and the pistol,,, I could keep going. Dino
I knew you'd choose that 556 pistol! How could you resist... Personally I go with what u picked except for the saiga. Too many mags to be hauling around... JMO
I would have to choose a 6.8spc or 300 acc blackout, they are much lighter then the Springfield with very similar ballistics. For hand cannon S&W 500 4" .Shotgun I love the pump shotgun Remington 870 or Kel Tec KSG 14+1.
I guess each to their own and what they have.Any weapons system can be used to defend yourself, but in a lawless situation limitations like size, concealment and legal restrictions fly out the window, giving each person a higher degree of choice and freedom.
To me a full size combat pistol, a concealable but high powered handgun in a caliber that begins with a four. And a battle rifle, combat shotgun, or defensive carbine would be fine for wrol. The reason why I suggest a combat handgun, conceal carry piece and one longer weapon is much of the time you don't want people knowing what you have nor would you want to advertise the fact. The less loud your equipment and dress the less attention you will receive.
all i got right now is an ak47 (with a bayonet) and a walther pkk380. i have a kershaw spring assisted pocket knife, a cold steel tanto lite and a kabar and about 7 bats and clubs.
@weaponseducation oi weaponseducation can you do a video on the best guns you can get in aus because we dont get good shit in aus but i would like to know what we can get because im going for my gun licence in a week
I would go with a Colt 1911 or maybe a glock in 40 s&w instead of something as big as 50AE apart from the fact not all people can afford ammunition in that cartridge its inpractical, i would also go with an ak47 with an acog or eo tech with 4x maginifier, thats basically all you need, if you want to go a step further and you have enough money go for a remington 870 or mossberg 500 with side saddle
While all of those weapons combined cost less than the optics and light/laser combo on my AR... They're foolproof systems that I'm well trained on. My Saiga .308 isn't converted and has wood furniture. To a non gun guy it looks like a hunting rifle for all intents and purposes. While it doesn't follow up as fast as my AR, the .308 has no problem turning cover into concealment.
You want my two cents. 1911 (already have my Loaded), Remington 870 7 shot tube, Ruger mini 14 (preferably tactical model BUT the Ranch has the 18 inch barrel whic could help velocity. Bowie Knife & maybe some of that Cold Steel pepper foam shit. As of now I only have the 1911.
Didn't they want to pass a new law where gun owners who owned more than 3 weapons would be considered terrorists? This country is going nutz I tell you..
I recommend whatever you got now; but otherwise, I'd go with either an AK47 or an M1A(can't go wrong with 308). Side arm, I'd get the XDm 45 ACP, or a SIG 250(different barrel configurations: .45 acp, .40 and 9mm calibers altogether).. and for knives, I stay with my mighty KBAR.
Shotgun: Gotta go with the Benelli M1014. It's a beast!
ohh nevermind its a bushnell dang had me fooled lol

ETNApocalypse 2 months ago
Calibers must be common ones, so ammo is easy to find. A long range rifle only if you have a strong point to defend, need only as much range as your field of fire will present. How many need to take out bad guys past 300 yards? So, AR in 5.56, with 2 top ends. One, a light 16" barrel for the field, with a red dot and BUIS. Plus a long bull barrel upper for sniping, with 4-14 variable scope. A G19 9mm for a sidearm. 17+1 rounds, reload w/ 33 rd mags. Mossberg 590 12G 8 shot.

You have to consider ammo selection them the hardware. I'd carry G22 or g19 as for a rifle the m1a1 scout and for a blade Kbar and a SOG machete.

pepper spray is good to get away from a group if needed. consider a small fogger instead of a stream type. be mindful of wind direction....might get yourself too!!

desert eagle? too heavy and is your buddy going to have ammo to share? go with .40 0r .45 for a primary, and a small 9mm for a holdout as far as pistols go.
sldrmike 2 months ago
and keep enough ammo to last you for a little while
sldrmike 2 months ago
any high capacity rifle. i prefer an ar with a red dot and flip up iron sights. iron does not run out of batteries. also i love the 1911 and a small high capacity hold out pistol along with a good fighting knife. whatever you are proficient with is what you should have, or train on what you have. a lesser weapon is more effective in the hands of someone trained in it's use. mostly keep it light so you can be mobile.
sldrmike 2 months ago
Personally, I feel pretty good with my Arsenal AK 47 and Rock River AR 15, accompanied with my Glock 23. All great guns, but I believe training is just as valuable as the firearm.

My primary would be an HK 416 with a 4x Trijicon ACOG, my secondary would be a Sig P226 .40 cal. Then for a blade, I'd choose a good ol' fashioned hatchet. Nothing glamorous, but enough to get the job done.
Mullinator0001 2 months ago
i personaly thinking about say an invading force or ocuppying force i live in canada and i would choose a .22 bolt action to be specific maby a savage mark 2 for the simple reason that i can carry iteraly thousands of rounds and with the proper positioning in a quirila warfare situation witych it would be in the area im in a target within say 200yrds a neck or head shot is instant incapasitation and his buddys would only hear muffled shot
JUSTANOTHERDAY333333 2 months ago
Since 5.56mm and 9mm are the most popular rounds in rifles and pistols I'd go with AR-15 and Glock 19. They use very popular magazines and you shouldn't have a problem finding them laying around especially in zombie environments. Consistency with your environment is your number 1 asset in a SHTF situation.
IMFDB 2 months ago
Okay the theoretical top three for the SHTF moment, money being no object, are; the FN SCAR 17S, a Glock 19 with G18 magazines, and a SOG Agency knife.

It cuts leather as if it were paper.
slayingrn 2 months ago
To travel light, i would have a pair of S&W model 627, an XL Espada, the Natchez bowie and/or Gurkha Kukri.
And for medium range, there ain't nothing better than a good old WInchester Mode 1873 (45 Colt)
PrimericanIdol 2 months ago
And Tom, why don't you put some worthy optics on that M1A? You're running a red dot on something you want for long range.
Invest in a 2-7 power optic, and a decent mount. Your gun is only as good as its optics or sights.
skyhop 2 months ago
Logistics are everything in such an event, especially if it goes on for more than a day.
I'll stick with my AR15, and a 1911. Everyone has 223 laying around, or 45acp.
Go with a decent-mid range leupold in a good mount on the AR, quality magazines, and milspec ammo. Preferably M855.
I'll be happy just having my leatherman around and my 4sevens light.
Everything is simple, common, versatile, and well proven.

I guess each to their own and what they have.Any weapons system can be used to defend yourself, but in a lawless situation limitations like size, concealment and legal restrictions fly out the window, giving each person a higher degree of choice and freedom.
fixdeluxe1 2 months ago
To me a full size combat pistol, a concealable but high powered handgun in a caliber that begins with a four. And a battle rifle, combat shotgun, or defensive carbine would be fine for wrol. The reason why I suggest a combat handgun, conceal carry piece and one longer weapon is much of the time you don't want people knowing what you have nor would you want to advertise the fact. The less loud your equipment and dress the less attention you will receive.

Rifle: Saiga 308 w/ mepro's $578
Shotgun: Mossberg 590a1 9 shot (51668) $494
Pistol: Glock 19 $489
While all of those weapons combined cost less than the optics and light/laser combo on my AR... They're foolproof systems that I'm well trained on. My Saiga .308 isn't converted and has wood furniture. To a non gun guy it looks like a hunting rifle for all intents and purposes. While it doesn't follow up as fast as my AR, the .308 has no problem turning cover into concealment.
