  • Where is the bracing!!! I know they do not show like that buddy boy! That is like really bad! They should have put them in CATAGORIES!!! Like seriously none of those sheeps are even lined up!!! Anyways they should be lined up, In catagories, Knowing how to brace, and knowing how to look at the judge!!!!! Just saying.

  • wow i dont want to be mean but if u showed like this in oklahoma u would be last every time

  • Ha my god. Are these freshmen? Especially that one girl...you all know who im talking about

  • lol these arent breeding sheep! Why arent you guys bracing them!

  • Even well trained sheep need to be braced...hes also looking at you to see if you know what your doing...and it looks like yall are dancing instead of showing..Im the top shower in my state...ive won 7 grands in a row and 3 reserves...but i will say you did good just keep going and itll get better!

  • these are wat we call freddy 4h ers

  • phahah...... call that sheep showing!! come to the uk mate..... the sheep at 2.57 looks like a poodle

  • dont go telling people that that's the way most people show. i have been to and won shows all over California, Oregon, and Washington. This november I will be competeing at the national wether show in Louisville, Kentucky. I am the 2010 Oregon State Fair Champion Sheep showman and have been showing for seven years now and in all these years I have never heard nore seen that you cant brace the lamb. if you would like to see how its really done by most people email me.

  • It's amazing how much trash talk there is about this particular style of showing. Different areas have different styles. Up here in Washington (the state) our judges like to have the lambs braced when they are standing behind or on the side, and posed when being viewed from the front. I see several excellent showers, regardless of style of showing.

  • I'm very suprised that the judge could place them without ever laying a hand on them to feel for length/width of loin, muscle definition, fat thickness. Not a judge I would want at our sheep shows. What class is this? Breeding stock? Market? (can't see the video close enough to tell if they are ewes or wethers.)

You can definitely tell who has worked with their lamb and who hasn't.

  • @mommafarmer1 from what I see, I think this might be a showmanship class... but yes, definitely can tell who's lamb has and hasn't been worked with

  • hah, hell ya jtclivestock. aka.. one of my really close friends :] soo FUCK all ya'll northerners who think that bullshit about us. id sooo love fer yalls asses to come down here so we can whoop ya'lls.

  • you dont know the amount of hours these people put into this. i would know, one of my really close friends has 11 sheep between him and his brothers. there technically all his. and by god damnit he is one amazing sheep show-er. and if you have any respect all of yall will appologize for the stupid shit you said about us. because that is most intendedly fucked up. thank you, - one of the "shitty southerners who doesnt know how to show a sheep properly"

  • Because i bet you a million dollars that we can show sheep one million times better than you can. and for you people who have no clue what you are talking about, you need to take yer little opinions and shove it. because you cant sit here and critisise us about how shitty we show when you have no idea what you are talking about.

  • okkay, listen up, we show sheep perfectly fine and if you have a problem with it you can shove it. me being a sheep owner and showing sheep. i think i do pretty damn good showing. if you think we show like shit then get yer asses over here and show us how it is done.

  • prety cool i show over here in bl

  • This is a really bad example of showmanship, you guys really need to learn how to show because this is pathetic. You should learn how to brace because you guys don't look like you know anything about sheep. As fair as training goes a majority of these sheep aren't even bracing!

  • no one braces? what the fuck is this shit! Dont ever call this sheep showmanship !

  • anddd mind you i live in california, im a fucking city slicker. hahaha I can do better then this. lammeeee

  • are those market or breeders?

  • green as in not really put together the right way yet........ to those who dont know what im talking about.

  • non of those look ready most of them look green. there was one with an ok rack. i show sheep in indiana im jordan parker and have made more then 11,000 dollars doing this... i hope u make that much rollercoaster dude. ha but i have some that might place in kansas city.

  • WOW

    what is this?

i show sheep almost for a living and i have never seen ANYONE show a sheep like that...why is everyone just standing there....trust me i should know..i would get my butt chewed out if i showed like anything in there..i am sorry but its the truth...and no...NO ONE in the right since should just stand there and not get into them and make them look at presentable as can be....sorry no affence just tellin you whats up

  • ha i would too my dad would be like screamming at me hell he would come in there and yell at me i bet lolz.....where do u show im from indiana

  • @ptseemore16 PLUS THERE GOING WAY TO FAST!

  • omg! have you ever heard of docking the tails?!?!

  • i meant if they just stand there they look lazy. and yes i do have the animal brace all i have to do is slightly move the thumb and their muscles flex. and the judge seeds the lamb if you are by it you dont have to be all up on it you always change sides depending where the judge is so the lamb is always between you and the judge. and yes i have shown before ive been showing for 16 years now and championed many times over thank you

  • A well trained sheep doesn't need to be braced. How can the judge see the sheep if you are standing up against it? Obviously you have never shown!

  • @rollercoasteraid

i show and judge sheep on the national circuit...you ALWAYS brace, unless it's breeding.

This looks extremely unprofessional. You are showing sheep like goats, but there are major differences between the two.

  • they arent even bracing wht the hell??? why are they so far away from their lambs... how do they expect the animal to set up if they dont brace them??? they're just holding their heads not even doing anything...

  • omg i hope i do better than some of these people when i show lol .

some as in the last two, no offense. haHAH im sure there new and in experienced/

  • Some are good ! idk bout the kid on the end though ahaha ! (:

  • Thats not really how you show. These people look VERY in-experienced.

  • fuck YOU!!

  • @sheepgirl123 no offence rollercoasteraid but i agree wit sheepgirl

  • @sheepgirl123 Exactly! They should put them in catagories like there doing now

  • nice. exept for the last one lol.
