Michael Card's past songs have been such a blessing, for they were truly Spirit inspired. How tragic that his thinking of late has been infected with the ecumenical spirit of Anti-Christ. Truly tragic, indeed.
I was first introduced to Michael Card's music by Jeff Yackley in Akron, Ohio, in 1985. I was a member of GCI Students and Jeff was a guitar player and minister of music.
Mellow songs don't show lack of confidence but reverance. I will however, agree with you that this is arguably my favorite Michael Card song because it rocks. However my secong favorite is "Why" because of it's reverence.. It is when you realize the need and desirability of reverence that your name "TeensAreNot Children" will be accurate
when I first became a believer in 1994, Michael Card, SCC, The Kry and Bob Bennett were the first Christian artists that I was exposed to. I was in a Christian discipleship program here in Orange County after many years of heroin addiction and homelessness. I was pulled from the mud and had my feet set on a solid Foundation, finally...Now after all these years, many of them not even hearing any Michael Card, this sounds so good to me tonight! Thank you for posting. I am favoriting this!
starstix000, I have the original cassette tape but was damaged many many years ago. Since then I did not have the chance to listen to them for so long. Blaze25Z, thanks for putting it on the youtube. God bless!!!
Well, I was going to ask why you felt it necessary to add your disclaimer, but then I checked out your page. With James White and John MacArthur getting top billing, I think I have my answer. Anyways, for what it's worth, I have enjoyed Michael Card's music for over 20 years. He's a tremendously talented man, and a gentle Christian soul. Thanks and God bless.
What a God we have in Jesus! Thanks Bill. To humble ourselves now, to dedicate our lives to His service, to be unafraid and know He is with us, this great gift to a wasted life here, your offering instigates this greatest of gifts besides His grace: To serve Jesus till breath parts from us.
Brother, five stars!Michael Card is one of my favourites.I have listened to The Unveiling about two hundred times and i still get chills whenever i hear it.

I don't like modern Christian music. They are too mellow.
But THIS song. Not this song rocks. And has a great message. It shows confidence.
