@TheNameIsSLiP Hey thanks man. The Tundra traction control is a joke unless you turn it completely off then you can have some fun, I only had the truck two weeks when I made this Vid so I didnt know how to completely shut it off at the time.

@FUCKINROCKIT Yeah i'm enjoying it.  Mpg is awful right now "around 14.5" but it does only have 3K miles on her. My buddy and I did an injector swap and CP3 pump on his 5.9 last weekend, damn thing is insane with the torque. I could never drive a gas rig ever again

I bet your 4.0L could outperform me. I mean you can tow up to 5760 lbs that's really a lot of weight My truck weighs only 6200. You have 207hp and 238lb/ft of torque that's a lot of power for kids learning how to drive. And when your only probably only 5'3" a ranger is just right you don't wanna pull a muscle trying to get in a full size. So just sit down and color and try not to lose control when your out in your hot rod 4.0

My Tacoma SMOKES 4.0L Rangers to the point where when we have to pull up next to each other again at a light they pull behind me :). I raced a Tundra and got bus lengths put on me. Sooo I hope your Ranger is supercharged or SOMETHING cos if my 3.4 Tacoma can romp hard than you are scuhrewwed.

I use my 2010 crewmax 4x4 limited 5.7 with 4:30 gears for daily driving. I get 19.3 mph highway and it is a nice ride. I often toe a 27 ft (7500 pounds) boat short and long hauls. The tundra tows much much better than my 06 f150 4dr lariat 4x4 5.4 ltr. The difference is night and day. I have always driven ford trucks... Not any more. Oh ya... Non towing, I leave the f150's at the light easily.

As a side note here. . .the 2008 F-150 was a 5.4L compared to the Tundra's 5.7L. . .kinda sad that the Tundra could not out perform it. Poor engineering if you ask me. . .

Incorrect, F-150 has a higher towing capacity than Tundra.

2010 F-150 Tow Capacity = 11,300 lbs

2010 Tundra Tow Capacity = 10,800 lbs

Not only does it tow more, but also handles and controls the load better.

no chip, I put a Banks monster exhaust three weeks ago, still needing to get a vid of that. The truck hit's 110mph and the governor kicks in now which is really a drag because before I could peg the truck to 120mph with no problem

Thanks for the comment, the truck pulls hard whenever you mash the gas, I had almost 11,000lbs hooked onto to her a few months back and she still pulled great. I just installed my gale banks monster exhaust last week and it sounds pretty mean and made a noticeable difference in power.  I'll be posting more vids soon.

My truck is my DD it's a 2wd Double cab with the 6.5' bed. I usually get about 21mpg on the Highway and 16.5-17 in town, just depends on how nice I drive it :-) A diesel will get better mileage being that they are more fuel efficient. My truck actually has more room than a new 08 GMC 2500 diesel "my father in law has one" If I had the extra money when I bought mine i'd get the Crewmax 4x4, you can special order a Crewmax with the 6.5' bed also, if your dad is looking into that.

Thanks for the comment. The truck does very well in the rain, however the stock Michelin tires are horrible in the mud though. Where I live we have not had any snow yet, and this will be my first winter with the truck. I love the double cab I'm 6'6" 270lbs and can sit in the back with comfort, the handling is better than any other full size truck I have driven, it's a smooth ride but you know your driving a large truck which I like.
