MEDICAL UPDATE: Scott is doing good. He's out of the induced coma and cracking jokes. He will remain in the clinic for a few days for observation before returning to the US for further medical examination. Doctors say he will be fine once his bruises heal. He suffered no fractures.

Actually they threw some additional snow on that last mini hill to make last jump more spectacular.

He did but rules say u have to have at least 2 poles and one ski or one pole and 2 skis as u cross the finish line thus his finish doesnt count :(

This is the copy of Antoine Deneriaz' fall in Last year's Aare DH finals... I hope he gets back together soon... Streif indeed is the most demanding downhill course in the WorldCup...
