I found these ponds out not too long ago from a friend of mine, and I have found great success here. During the summer, these ponds get really over grown with vegetation along the banks, which makes excellent frog fishing and mat punching conditions. Later, and earlier in the year when the mats disappear, spinnerbaits paralleling the banks are your best bet. Just use braided line. The turtles here can be a nuisance
