There both pretty much the same 4wd is when all wheels are locked together and Awd is when the engine sends more power to certian wheels for more traction, I think.
GM needs to get there head out of there butt and make cars that get 30-40mpg. There is no reason we dont have them if the jap cars can do it so can american made. I think they are working with the oil companies to delay better mpg cars and trucks. the tecknology is here but its not being used. the new chevy truck design is stupid. the front end looks like a wind block. stremlined vehicles get better mpg. its not just GM its Ford too
Irony is, that the Vibe is basically a Toyota Matrix in a less fugly body design. Same mechanicals, same interior, same MPG (26/32). So in this case, they are keeping up with the Japanese. ;)
The scary thing is that some people criticize the quality of GM product with quasi-literate English. Good grammar is free. Use some. If Americans don't know the difference between "there" and "their", rampantly misspell, abuse and neglect the apostrophe, abuse and ignore punctuation, fail to capitalize, use offensive ethnic terminology...how can we expect them to make quality products? GM makes much better cars than monsterman writes posts. ;-)

Lol. I drive the red Pontiac Vibe GT and I love it so much.
Picks up way faster than my mom's Mazda.
And everywhere I go people ask what car it is, since it's not popular where I live.
