Argent Tournament was the last patch I was actually excited for. I was thinking "cool, gonna be like the Isle. It wasn't nearly as fun or cool, and having flying mounts killed the chance of world pvp. I mean come on, doing bombing dailies over Brutallus fighting compared to playing knights n ponies.

Vanilla can't be beat for its tremendous RP base and it's requirements of skill and patience. BC was good for first expansion but had horrible turnouts in the layer expansions. WotLK has been best so far because of its raids and Dungeons. Cata brought features that make the game TOO easy but have kept people playing. Sorry if you can't face this truth. WoTLK was best and will be always. For the alliance!

Cata has high turnouts because they made it way too easy and pandered way too much to people who wanted everything from heroics. Sure overall subscription may be up, but ask hardcore players. I endgame raided all through WOTLK and i loved it (although not as much as BC) but everything is so bland and easy in cata I never got into raiding. The incentive to work just isn;'t there.

Naxx was in vanilla wow before wotlk, it used to be a level 60, 40 man raid.

You know what I hate the most? People going "DAWWWWW I MISS VANILLA!" No, take of your nostalgia goggles off and look at the flaws it had. You needed to grind for 14 hours a day or you could never be accepted in raids, pvp was unbalanced as SHIT, 90% of the gameplay was either grinding or other stupid shit. Yes you got respect if you were dedicated and thats the only thing I miss, but there was just soooo many flaws.

i fucking miss being a noob back in lk. back then there were actually nice people around (though mostly were also noobs and eventually quit),i could have more fun dying with friends than clearing a raid nowadays with a bunch of fat nerds. i got farther, level 85 and full epic pvp and pve sets and a few heirlooms, but it was plain boring, so i quit. not saying lk was great (it wasnt) but being a noob and having funny comic deaths is much more fun than having to do 20k dps every hour in the day.
