Marton is in ok voice but that's about all this performance has going for it. The conducting is problematic and Marton sounds mechanical,tentative, even as though she does not understand the text. In my opinion, it is too un-Verdi. Listen to Leontyne Price's studio recording, or even her 1984 Met performance, with Levine conducting, and you'll immediately see, hear and feel the diffence.

Jezsamen ment: Thanx for posting this vid with Kolos Kovats. He is a great actor and a very direct and person, who shows his beautiful voice also for those, who are not much of music.
