@edog355 I read a fantastic article how they can do massive destruction to crops and land. It's one of the times people are allowed to hunt them. People pay a very large amount of money to kill one, the meat is ALWAYS harvested, and the elephant heard "gets the picture" when one of them is killed and trodd off whatever human farm they are on. There are very strict laws on elephant hunting and poachers who kill outside the law are liked by fiew.
