@pratik6 oh you a Buddhist. Nice. Well then you must have known that Lord Buddha was born in Nepal then.
He was during Kirat period (800 BCE - 330AD). When Lord Buddha visited Kathmandu valley, 7th Kirat King was ruling the valley then. His name was Jitedasti. He was a benevolent and wise King. He let Gautama Buddha preach his teachings to the local population.
my nepal...ur nepal ... our nepal.. u all guys n girls from world are heartly n warmly wellcome in our nepal.. we always ready to give u spritual love .. thanks for uploading.
Great video !! Nepal is rich full of such religious and cultural heritage. Nepal is best place for Traveling based Religious and cultural sites . You can find lots of wonderful temples monuments and religious and cultural places in Nepal. If you are fond of traveling in such places then Nepal Travel can be your best option.
Newar scholar Mr Amrit Ratna Tuladhar mentions based on the ancient Nepali history "Kirat king Yalambar founded the city of Patan.
During his time the petty kingdom was known as Yala, a nomenclature presented or given in praise of the Kirat king. However the term of "Yala" has today entered the Nepal Bhasa (Newari) vocabulary referred to or addressing the city nestled in the southern part of Nepal Valley".
Thank you being optimistic to our country i hope at the end of this year( perhaps on nov or dec) i would go back to my country and enjoy all of my time with my parents frens . and ya thanx for uploadin really cool video.
Sudarshan Raj Tiwari (Temples of the Nepal Valley, 2009) states that he Bal Kumari mandir of Chyagal, Patan, was originally a Kirati temple. Apparently, there are many temples around Patan that date back to Kirati times and are rectangular in shape. They usually house Bhairav and Bhimsen, as well as Bal-Kumari Ajima and other mother goddesses whom the Kirats worshiped. They are said to have been renovated during the Malla times. Tiwari claims They are obviously designs from the Kirat domain.
Newar scholar Mr Amrit Ratna Tuladhar has already verified that "Kirat king Yalambar founded the city of Patan. During his time the petty kingdom was known as Yala, a nomenclature presented or given in praise of the Kirat king. Today the term of "Yala" has entered the Newari vocabulary referred to or addressing the city nestled in the southern part of Nepal Valley". The city was later later expanded by Lichhavis in the sixth century.
@diliprai @diliprai ... heloo ,,, patan is not originally kirati temple.. its pure nepali temple.. don't misguide others pls.. its our heritage, culture... country n culture is always on the top than cast .thank u.
The discovery of 2nd century BC brick construction by the Italian excavation team near the Satyanarayan temple gives conclusive proof that the Kiratas had advanced knowledge of brick construction.
(The Brick and the Bull by Sudarshan Raj Tiwari)
The Newar name for Patan, Yala, originated from the Kirat king Yellung or Yalambar, the alleged founder of the dynasty and the city. Chyasal-tol is believed to commemorate the 800 Kiratas slain in battle with the Lichchavis (Tiwari, 2001)

This is for tourists who wants to visit nepal and wants to know little bit about the meaning of nepal.
the term nepal starts from 4th BCE. before that, the himalayas region was known as "kiratdesh"
Secondly the term "nepal" came from kirati word "nepala". the kirati meaning of nepala is "yo bhumi afai bolchha"("the land says itself" )
watch this documatary --> Origin of the term "Nepal"
And yes visit nepal, forget about the modern world, worries, stress and have a great time.

What a beautiful country, I didn't expect that!
I was wondering about the music.. is it typical music from Nepal or just some random Asian music? It's also very beautiful! I might use it for school!
And the video too if you agree!
