Hm...From what I've seen you have a full bar no matter how many energy tanks you collected. There are even videos on here of people doing speedruns and finishing the whole game with only one energy tank.

I found a kind of crazy backwards message, just type in the last four symbols, 8 7 6 5, and play it backwards and it says something about "Imploding barriers and plant life" and ends with "The joy of creative..." spooky! He says plant life, so maybe it's Olimar talking about pikmin lol but for real, I don't know.

Yeah, I beat it on Veteran a long time ago. I'm up to the final battle on Hypermode with 100% pickups, but I haven't actually gotten around to finishing it. :P

Yknow what I hate? I beat it on beginner, and beat it the second time on Hypermode, and both times I felt the same feeling of aggravation when all the energy tanks and other pickups that I spent to get 100% went all to waste when you got to Phaaze.

There's a secret message with another person. Press in order (from left to right) third, sixth, fourth, eight. You'll hear a message from Kenji Yamoto.

I just got the game, but the instruction booklet says I need the latest Wii update, and I dont have online on my Wii, so I cant get the update. Is it true you need the latest update? I just got home and need to know if thats true. I will need to go tomorrow and buy the adapter if it is.

The update comes with the MEtroid DVD. You shouldn't need to be online to update.
