  • Dude what type of guitar is that? you know model

  • @djforte1 That's a Les Paul Standard.

  • Cool Sweat!

  • Could you please do lessons? I would be honored to had a teacher that plays u do.

  • Great tone and very accurate guitar part. Could you possibly do a version dubbing in the sax parts too?

  • wow. I never realized how much this song rocked until I saw it played on a guitar. Now I really wanna see a kick ass hard hard rock live version with saxophones and all that jazz.

  • cool -

  • I love your sweatshirt man. Where did you get it?

  • @Gizmogibbongimp Got that at the House of Guitars in Rochester, NY, about 20 years ago.

  • Awesome - you nailed that'shrill', trebley tone; that Les Paul of yours really sings!

  • My dad said this song was about Eric Clapton and his cravings for sweets

  • @MrJaxreid correct, Eric was always going to the dentist because of cavities, George found this to be very funny, so he wrote a song about it...

  • @randlec6 If you go to thechurchofbeatles dot tumblr dot com, you can see a picture of the actual chocolate box George was looking at when he wrote the song. A lot of the song lyrics are right there on the box.

  • @privettricker Thank you!!

  • @privettricker It's kind of like the story of "Mr. Kite" and how John basically just took the words right off of the circus poster.

  • Great job and I like that tone--just like a buzzsaw cutting through your spine!! I wish I knew how to get that sound.

  • Excellent job on this!

  • I don't really think John didn't want to play on George's song. He plays a great guitar on Don't Bother Me and obviously the slide on For You Blue. Then on Pepper he had Sitar songs which none of them played on. But later on like George's Abbey Road songs and I Me Mine (the last Beatles song recorded) he just wasn't in the studio that much as the others and so they recorded without him.

  • @westfield90 Well, George only wrote three sitar songs. There were plenty of occasions when one or two Beatles were missing from a session. Yet Paul and Ringo still managed to play on virtually every George session. John isn't even mentioned in George's book I Me Mine, which I think is very telling. The odd thing is, John asked George to play on some of his early solo album sessions, but John didn't do any of George's solo sessions.

  • @privettricker interesting...I read somewhere tht John was gonna be on the concert for Banglidesh, but he insisted Yoko be with him...to which George said no....Which I'm sure everyone approved...God...tht woman doesn't sing, she screams like a cat gettin murdered lol...it's fucking horrible!!

  • @matco24 Linda McCartney had infinitely more musical talent than Yoko -- and that ain't sayin' much.

  • @privettricker lol agreed...I could tell by listening to John and Paul's post-beatle work how they missed each other....they had good spots...but there were spots where I was thinking..hmm Paul's bass woulda sounded good there....

  • @privettricker Yeah, "How do you Sleep" is classic Harrison slide work! Lennon commented that George played his ass off on that song!! I've always wondered why George didn't have John play on any of his solo work. My guess is it was too spirtual for John, so George didn't bother to ask him.

  • Thanks man. I can't wait for Scorsese's documentary on George airing October 5th and 6th on HBO!

  • Was this all George? or did Lennon play on it as well?

  • @moneysliz Actually, John played on very few of George's songs through the Beatles whole career. I doubt he's on this one.

  • @privettricker maybe beacause george wrote very few songs through the beatles career :P

great playing by the way....... as always

  • @internazionalikos2 Well, there's no denying the fact that John dismissed George's songwriting (and George in general) and had zero interest in playing on George's songs.

  • @privettricker yes, that's true

and not only john, a lot of george's songs didn't make it in any beatles album

i agree with you in that

  • 7 stars five starfish a ginger slking---godd damm can you play--loved every second

  • I could blaze up & watch your vids all day kid!!this is making me want to learn more beatles
