I love music from the Renaissance era, mainly because it has more time, work, quality put into it than most modern day music. I would give anything to live during that period.....
@kyrpap1981 Languages are for fags. I wish we could just go back to the times where we just shat in our hands and smooshed it in each others' faces and then laughed manically before raping, beating, and re-raping the same person.
@Fishdogpigsquirrel The one "where we just shat in our hands and smooshed it in each others' faces and then laughed manically before raping, beating, and re-raping the same person."
@vaguelyhumanoid Humans were still human before spoken language bro. Either way, that was a joke. This is the internet...you really shouldn't take things so seriously.
Um...Heavnnnsent, the Renaissance spanned from around the 1390's to the early 1600's. Now if you had said 1599 that would make more sense. But by 1699 Human Civilization was firmly planted in the Coloniale Era and the Age of Reason was picking up steam.
@kyrpap1981 In one of your previous comments you called me a racist, and now you say I wake up ' in a miserable way'? So that's another thing I have learned about you: in one of your comments to another user, you wrote, 'So, you should not judge people that you do not know...'. Just thought I'd point that out to you.
Helllo, im an Albanian scientist, and i love exploring these songs, they help my donkies eat better and it calms them down when giving birth.... I LOVE SHEKESPERE
@kyrpap1981 No, I cannot speak Greek, I do not have the time or need to learn your language, and I never claimed that I could. I agree with you, English is a very demanding language grammatically and the language rules in German do indeed, make more logical sense. But to repeat my argument, I do not like how you chose to correct another user so arrogantly when your grammar was also lacking in places. I'm not an expert in grammar, but at least I don't pretend to be.
@kyrpap1981 I'm so sorry, if my word offended you. I didn't mean that. The thing, that the technique, in italian called "vibrato" was developed through the 19th. century. Actually, it is really difficult to play that. The thing is, that even in baroque text's are not any remark of using this technique. It's all. Eventhough, this music is awesome!
@kyrpap1981 Actually, because the technique, how to play it like this is really problematic and we know for sure, that it was developed much later. Sorry, I'm studiing it on the univerzity, so I should know ;-)
Actually, the violin player plays them the way, that was used from clasicism, and this tachnique wasn't never used in renaissance(I know, that it's not violin, but I don't know english name for them)....But beautiful ;-)
@Brinah Thank you I am so glad to contribute to the LOL Factor!!! Right now I am ROFG (Rolling on the floor giggling). Every time I hear this song I get an urge to go fox-hunting. Must be having previous life flashbacks. Oh how I loved the days of yore!
I have same reason. That's absolutly beautifule music. I love this epoche, history is my not only hobby. I study it. And everything which is join with history is without mistake:-))
I apologize, that was actually cruel of me... hehe... I hope you forgive me, it's just that this is a horrible performance of renaissance music. I suggest you start listening to really historical informed renaissance music, start with Jordi Savall.
