  • english is easy to speak

  • The announcers English is very good, but she has a Hawaiian English accent. Her English is not that clear and it has a kind of slang to it when she speaks in English. She should try to improve her pronunciation of English before she creates videos like this. It is a bad image for Hawaiian people that live in Hawaii because a lot of people in Hawaii speak a whole lot better than she does with much better pronunciation.

  • i noticed a few grammatical errors in this series of vids but i think you should relax a litle. i reckon the last thing on most people's minds is "omg, that hawaiian speaks dodgy english".

  • These are very old videos, so none of this matters anymore. Still, I think you are right - she doesn't speak very clear english sometimes, and she speaks very fast also. It's hard especially for newbies to hear what she is actually saying. I think it'd be better if she pronounced each word very slowly and clearly at first. But this is just a fun show anyway so it doesn't matter.. it's not serious english studying, you know (they can study on their own for that)..

  • kaori knows english well..

    she changed bills into money...

    she understands well ^^

  • iya desuuuuuuuuuu

  • how cute, at 1:19 ayaka herself had her japenese accent get in the way while explaining the phrase "I dont have any small de bills"

  • she was saying it phonetically so that kaori could understand it better

  • guess i feel a tad ignorant...but none the less they are both adorable.

  • lol " Bills ~ Oh Bills~"

  • i don't have no bills.... haha

  • I dont have any change. Is what you say in england

  • And Australia. since Ayaka is American she is using American phrases. (just adding, don't mean to sound evil :D)

  • Ayaka isn't American. She's Japanese.

  • Sorry, I meant to say that she had spent many years living in America when she was a teenager. *mental brain fizzle*

Anyway, she learned a lot of English when she lived in Hawaii.

  • :D

Is Hawaii a part of America? O.O Wow! i'm little wiser! x") (Sorry, I'm pretty dumb...)

  • Although Hawaii is a different island it is a part of America (Though not a lot of people know it) Don't feel dumb, I only learned that last year.

I hope Americans don't kill me for not knowing, I don't have any connections with any Americans, hence the reason as to why I didn't know either until recently.

  • :D i don't have any connections with Americans eighter... So, I guess it isn't so big problem if I didn't know. xD

  • a lot of people not from North America don't really know that (casually) because Hawaii wasn't even an actual state until 1959, so no, most of us from the States won't hold it against you :)

  • Yay~! ^-^

  • @gellis2007 when people ask me for small bills, i take that to mean they want $1 bills

  • I was born and raised in America, and I dont really know how this would be used in conversation. I dont really understand it either.

  • Really? I'm from Canada and I've definitely used it before. Ie, when paying for something that's like less than a dollar with a 20 dollar bill, "shit, sorry, I don't have any small bills"

  • IIA DESUUU IIA DESUUU XD

  • Iida

    small money nyahaha loved it

  • Lida looks so young :O

  • yeh, shes young^^ was born in 1987

  • Haha, who uses this phrase anyway?

  • Iida >w<!! I don't have any small... money... many... >w< xDDDDDDD

  • LOL

  • lol what she said 1st worked anyway!

  • God I love lida
